"Hotel was ok, but seemed clean. Parking is next to the hotel and seems a bit un safe if you are by yourself late in the evening or very early in the morning. they charged 29.99 for parking which seemed a bit high, for being in Colombia, SC. Saw many areasin the parking garage that had broken glass that might of come from car break ins. Hotel was a little worn, but close to restaurants, and felt safe walking to dinner. "

"The host was absolutely amazing. So easy to communicate with. We also picked the perfect time to visit Columbia. Cottonwood was a nice, historic community and all the dogwoods and azaleas were in bloom. Could not have been a more beautiful scenery. We walked for miles :)"

"Room clean, powerfully clean in fact. Whatever they mop with takes a bit to get used too. You get 2 towels, 2 wash clothes, 2 bars of mini soap. I usually don’t care for short stays, I use what the hotel provides, but they don’t provide shampoo or lotion. No facial tissues either. It’s off the highway and parking right in front of your room. Area is sketchy. 1st night there the local strippers must have had a party room there. Woke up at 3am to shouting, slamming doors, music and more bs. Other nights were not as bad, but if you’re looking for quiet stay away. Refrigerator not plugged in on arrival, I get it, plug it in so it’s ready for my return and it’s not cold. Outlet was bad. Had to move it across the room. AC worked that was ok. Bed and linens comfortable, on day 2 I returned to find bathroom was cleaned and new set of towels and soap laid out. There are no do not disturb signs. If you’re on a budget, don’t fear your own safety this place for you. Staff very friendly but when you just run a place and let it slowly get ruined there’s nothing you can really do. Again if you’re just in for an night or two, then you get what you pay for. Oh and no coffee either. They sell water and soda for I think $1. "

"The location is excellent with easy access to Columbia attractions. Plenty of parking and a nice mix of indoor and outdoor space. That said, several issues affected our stay. We received a wrong access code in our confirmation email and had to wait for a callback to get the correct one. The kitchen was not equipped for eight guests: four mugs, six glasses, no coffee filters, and barely enough coffee for one pot. No wastebaskets in the bedrooms or upstairs. We also noticed insects in the main floor bathrooms and at the sink. The coach house showed significant wear and the deck needed cleaning on arrival. The bed was very firm but the linens were great. With some attention to supplies and upkeep, this property could be a solid choice."
