"The cottage at Raven’s Roost was a perfect spot for our long weekend enjoying the Shenandoah Valley area. Ed and Betsy were excellent hosts that really take pride in making sure your stay is everything that it can be. We loved getting to play with the dogs everyday when we came back from hiking. Miss Katniss, the orange and white kitty, loved having our attention too. We would definitely stay again at Raven’s Roost for our next visit to the Valley."

"Absolutely loved this stay, what a beautiful place to relax and escape, by the river surrounded by trees, not too far to venture to some activities and the Skyline Drive in the Shenandoah River. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, stargazing and watching the fireflies at night and even got to watch a short lightning storm across the next valley. Only a 6/7 min drive to the supermarket, petrol station and some fast food places, a few more mins to the centre of Luray where there are a few small shops, cafes and a great ice-cream parlour. Our only very minor issue was that from the listing before booking it wasn’t obvious that we needed to bring our own bedding, and travelling from the UK that was an issue. However as soon as I messaged them about this they said they would sort it out for us. As soon as we arrived they were straight round with the bedding and towels and answered any questions we had. Great hosts, would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone that was looking to stay in the Luray area."
