"We had a wonderful stay at The Moorings. In fact so lovely that we booked in again on our way back from Queenstown. Darren was very welcoming, he gave us some good tips for our travel routes and we had some great chats - a lovely guy. The property itself was very comfortable, well maintained, quiet, clean and had a lovely view of the lake. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils. Highly recommend!"

"Waking up to an incredible lake view right from the room sets the bar high, especially with the Wanaka tree just a quick stroll away."

"Good clean rooms. Check-in lady was very helpful. Parking was a free for all with several patrons taking over two spaces which meant getting luggage into our room was difficult. Shower curtain was a let down as water still went all over the bathroom floor, no space to put toiletries on the bathroom sink and no where to wash up used dishes etc (we did in the small bathroom sink) Small fridge with no temp control meant items were frozen in the morning. Overall a nice property and the comments above are just for suggestions."
