"Sasha's Retreat is extremely well set up for large family gatherings. The cottage is the centrepiece of all activities with close proximity to the BBQ. The outside deck's large table and huge fridge make catering for your tribe super easy. The pool is a short walk and is located between the two homes. The newer abode is outstanding. The 5 tee, one green golf course provides wonderful fun for all, including grandkids.Overall we found the Retreat a perfect place to stay. Very highly recommended.Stephen, our host, was easy to contact via email & text and was very helpful."

"An excellent place to stay for a Hunter Valley getaway. The property is ideally located close to many of the region’s most popular wineries, making it easy to head out for a tasting or a leisurely lunch.There’s also plenty to enjoy without leaving the estate, including an excellent pub and restaurant, as well as a heated pool. It’s the perfect option for those days when you simply don’t feel like driving anywhere.The property itself is extremely comfortable, beautifully equipped, and has everything you need for an easy self-catering stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be returning soon."

"The property was great! Lots of room and the fireplace, fire pit, and the spa were great perks. It was very clean and well stocked. Use of the resort gym and pool were also fantastic. We were unable to access the compendium with house instructions, unfortunately, which meant we couldn’t figure out how to heat the spa. We called a few times for instructions but nothing seemed to work. By the time we realised it wasn’t heating again, it was after-hours. This was disappointing as that was a main draw! I had also called about purchasing firewood and was told the office would close at 6. We stopped in, on our way to dinner next door, at 5:50pm and it was locked up. Luckily my husband is resourceful and scavenged for wood along the road side. I would definitely stay here again, but would encourage improvements in communication and customer service from the host."

"A lovely comfortable property to stay with a group of friends, we had everything we needed to be able to stay comfortably in the property, beds were very comfortable, clean linen, gas fire was a nice touch and the fire pit was relaxingPoints to mention* The kitchen literally has one PowerPoint* A late request of beds to be separated comes at a cost of 155 to do this which is crazy expensive * Main lounge room blind had a large tear/hole in it * Due to not being able to have cars parked in the street we moved our cars into the garage inside the garage was a massive plague of dead ants I’m talking thousands of dead ants which really smelt terrible* We asked at reception to buy firewood for the fire pit at the property the minimum amount is charged at 65 they don’t have an option for smaller quantities.Location of property is amazing and central to everything in the hunter valley, neighbours were lovely and the kangaroos were everywhere"

"This was a two night stay as we were in the Hunter to attend a wedding (checked in Friday - checked out Sunday). The house was large and had plenty of room for our family group. The modern facilities were excellent and everyone was impressed with this choice of accommodation. Too bad we couldn't stay a few more days. The only disappointment was the double garage. With storage racks and cupboards on both sides in the garage, it was was really only wide enough to fit one car. Otherwise, it was a terrific stay."

"Enjoyed a wonderful stay at this property for my Mum’s 80th. Plenty of separate living areas to accommodate our large party, including lovely serene outdoor spots to admire the view. Beds exceedingly comfortable. Everything you could want supplied. We had a marvellous time."
