Fishing on the bone.
Great property clean, nice amenities provided in the house, great setting on the lake. My only negative was the dock had been removed before our stay for winter and we missed having a dock for our boat. You would need to check with the property managers to make sure dock is there to use if staying at the property later in year. We stayed first week in October. They were very quick to answer any concerns would stay again at the property.

Cozy cabin, quiet, and very enjoyable vacation!
The home was very warm and comfortable. Needs quite a few minor repairs throughout. Lake level is down but we had no trouble enjoying the lake. Outside property is well attended and spacious. Local wildlife was fun to watch. Mark Brunner was extremely helpful and friendly! We had a great time. Thanks so much.

Hot Water
Not bad on the outside of the property, but the inside was not what I expected. The light switches are everywhere and some did nothing at all. I'm guessing that there are at least a handful of light bulbs that need to be replaced. I've seen better furniture in a second hand store, but the kicker was that there was no hot water!! I did get a refund for this, but when you have plans and travel 13 hours you don't expect to have to repack all your "stuff" and find another place at a moments notice!

The Best nature has to offer!!!!
The wild life is amazing, we saw bald eagles, a family of swans, and loons from the pier. The fire pit and large yard were perfect to enjoy yard games and cook pudgy pies, the sunset was beautiful as well. Our kids loved catching little fish off the pier and I found pleasure in using my Kayak around the bay. My husband was able to tie up his fishing boat with ease. Having 2 nice bathrooms with shower and tub combination was great. Just be sure to pull the door toward you to enter the code to open the outside door, it took me a bit to figure that out. The porch was and extension of the living room with climate control for a comfy third sleeping area and nice and roomy for a kids craft area. We had a fantastic family vacation. Peggy Eller

Comfortable cabin on a peaceful lake bay
Comfortable cabin with all the resources necessary for a pleasant stay. We travel with elderly/disabled parents; the floorplan was very accommodating to our special needs. Mark was very communicative and took care of one pending issue cordially and respectfully. This end of Bone Lake is quiet, with swans and eagles visiting regularly. The deck was a very comfortable place to hang out and enjoy the landscape.

Great VRBO
The cabin on Bone Lake is beautiful and well-appointed, with comfortable rooms. The AC worked well and we had a very comfortable king sized bed and our relatives had a comfortable full-sized bed. The bathrooms were nice. Problems: the ice maker has never worked and we had to get ice in town the first evening. We are fishermen and there was no place to get rid of fish waste. As directed by the property manager, we burned ours in the backyard fire pit with a pyre of firewood on top. The cabin water was drinkable and very cold or hot as desired. The towels and such were fine. There was lots of room to park and move boats and trailers about We had good TV reception, but had to get a DVD player from the property manager. A gas grill would have been nice. Whomever cleaned ahead of us, needed to check things out better. There was hair and dirt behind the doors and in corners of our bathroom and a towel rack was pulled part way out of the wall. I recommend a large floor mat inside the cabin door for sandy shoes. Still, it is a nice home away from home in a beautiful part of the country, and the property manager was all over our needs.

Cozy, comfortable and a Beautiful View
We stayed at Mark and Courtney’s cabin from May 6th to May 9th for my husband’s birthday. We brought along our dog, Mabel and our 9 year old nephew. This two bedroom 2 bathroom cabin is clean, comfortable and cozy. It’s unpretentious as compared to it’s bigger, fancier neighbors. It’s got a great 4 season porch that I just loved. The decor is “lived in” and reminds me of my favorite aunt’s decor style from the late 1980s-1990s. It might be slightly outdated but it’s a cabin! Who wants sleek and modern at a lake home? The price was very reasonable for the location RIGHT ON THE LAKE! They have their own private dock which was great for taking sunset photos. The lake public access is just down the road also. It was a bit too early in the season for swimming but it was beautiful to see all the birds flying over the lake. We saw a pair of eagles swooping down to the water to catch fish at eye level. It was amazing. My nephew and husband took the dog on a walk and they saw a black bear down the road!! They were safe, as the bear hightailed it to a tree and climbed up the tree. You don’t see that in the cities! We enjoyed the fire pit every evening. One thing that would have been on my wish list would be an outdoor grill for cooking the burgers and brats. But the kitchen was adequately stocked for cooking indoors. The beds were comfortable and the television had Netflix which my nephew loved. The best part of this trip was we could bring our dog. She is part of our family and this property allows pets which is hard to come by. Mark was very kind and prompt in answering any and all questions. Thank you! We hope to return again soon.
