This hotel in a very bad area of town. Slept with pistol next to my bed just to feel safe. Paid for 4 nights was awaken by motel staff asking if I was staying. Thank U hotels.com for getting my money refunded and finding me a safe environment for my business trip.

Low-Quality Hotel
This hotel was terrible. Rethink if traveling with children. My family and I had to find another hotel for the night because we were not willing to stay in the filth. The bed sheets had cigarette burns (holes), there was a huge hole in the restroom door, the non-smoking room smelled like a smoker paradise, and when we arrived the AC was off in 100 degree Texas weather.

Awful accommodations
TV outlet did not work and the front desk knew there was an existing problem. Towels and wash cloths were stained and room smelled really bad.

They need to do work on the bldg. It is in bad shape. Mattress were not very comtable. Floor was not clean behind the bed. They did not relish the coffee in the room. The cereal in the containers did not look fresh.

Could use improvement
The bed was comfortable. The coffee maker didn't have a lid so it didn't drain into the carafe.Towels had some stains, When I went to check out the lobby door was locked and it was supposedly the time that they were having the coffee and donuts,cereal...the manager looked angry that I woke him up (it was already 7:30 am)

The bed sheets had stains. They said it was a sleep number bed but it wasn't. The water didn't drain at all in bathtub. Very old hotel and too expensive for the price.

It is what it Is .your getting a $68.00 Room . No it is not the four seasons But that is not what you are paying for. The neighborhood is a little rough Some of the clientele look iffy but I stayed for four days and nothing happend . No car break ins or drug or alcohol induced violent behavior . Would not stay there if my wife was with me because i don't want to here her complain. Its a bed shower toilet sink And TV with no chocolate on the pillow kinda place Suited me right down to the ground. It was cheap

Limited parking. Electrical shorts in room. Cannot use microwave and coffee machine simultaneously. Noisy location on a busy street. Very limited parking and difficult access for a full sized pickup.

There was only as very small amount of toilet paper in the bathroom. We had to go to the car and get tissues. They gave us another small used roll in the morning. The sheets on the bed had holes and burn holes in the bedspread. The wall were so thin you could hear everyone in the other rooms. I will not be staying in this motel again.

Bad never again. I want a refund horrible I felt dirty and I paid 116 last weekend I stayed at the double tree in Houston and paid that price. No cool.i had to call because ya did not send my information to them. It was cold if took 4 hours for the room to get warm. If my kids were not with me I would slept in my car. Good service make this right

A room for the night
The room was not dirty but repairs to the ceiling and walls were obvious. The door closed and locked but it did not close tightly enough to keep out the noise from outside. The two chairs around the petite table were very unstable and about to fall apart. One of the two thread bare wash cloths had a large hole in it and the towels were also very thin. The bed was comfortable. A bulb was broken in one of the side lamps so it did not work. The TV remote was the type I hate, were the channel selection is up/down one at a time & no channel guide. There were plastic wrapped plastic drinking cups and an ice bucket of sorts but no indication of any ice machine available. There was a corner of the check-in area that had a table and three chairs that was indicated as the Continental breakfast area. I did see a coffee machine on a counter in that area. I will not stay at this location again and I doubt if I will use Hotels.com again.

Not a place that I'd want to visit a second time
Lesson #1: Do not wait until August to book a Texas Tech football game/family weekend hotel! We selected this place because 1) it was walking distance to the football stadium, 2) available hotels within 5 miles were VERY expensive and 3) available reasonable hotels were 20+ miles away. This hotel was very expensive for the weekend as it was football game day. Hotel is very old and maintenance is lacking. Advertised breakfast is a couple cereal dispensers (they are out 24/7) and very weak OJ. Outside our window was the a gathering place for the local homeless and we heard their conversations throughout the night. After the first night I asked the staff to deal with the situation and they did try (did not last long) but they should remove all the furniture that were gathered outside the window if they want to keep the group away. Bed was reasonably comfortable and sheets were clean but we did not trust the comforter. Towels were thin and stained. In the future, we will make the drive from distant locations rather than stay here again. On the plus side, the Prairie Dog town in the lot next door was fun to see.

Hotel needs updating. Arrived late and found door wouldn't lock, so deadbolted the door overnight and had it fixed in the morning. Room was probably as clean as the could get it considering the age of fixtures and carpet

Disgusting and owners don't care!
Stay away from this horribly dirty and filthy hotel. It is cheap but not worth the small and gross stains on all carpets and towels and bedding!!! Even the bath tub not just dripped, but ran constantly. The bathroom lighting has 3 of 4 bulbs burnt out. Seriously, how hard is it to replace a light bulb. The owners don't care at all!!! They clean the rooms themselves instead of hiring people, and as they do, they are yelling and talking across the lot waking everybody up early. I implore Hotels.com to NOT list this disgusting property, it reflects poorly on them. I am a frequent traveler, and I have stayed in some bad hotels, but this is the worst I have ever experienced. STAY away!!

Highly overpriced for quality of stay
Room was pretty much filthy. The hotel clearly stated on the "rules" sheet in the room, that no dogs are allowed and if found, they will be "picked up". I figured the room was so nasty, who cares if I have my little puppy inside. So I kept her in the room and didn't get in trouble, so that was about the only positive. The location is decent, but for $120, the room was completely disgusting. No door handle on the bathroom door, cigarette burns on the bed cover, etc..

This place is old and dirty. Stained linens, lumpy beds, poor breakfast selections, no place to sit for breakfast, this place needs a complete makeover. Staff was nice but the place needs a thorough painting and cleaning!!!! I would not recommend this place at this point.

Hardly any parking. One way in and out. One person was checking in and parked at the drive. No one could get in our out. No street parking do I couldn't fit on the road. Had a small trailer with me. It is an older motel but that can be understood. However, the tile in the bathroom had a film showing it had not been cleaned efficiently. The overall cleanliness made the stay uncomfortable. Added to this situation the parking facilities were so compact it was difficult to maneuver and after my stay I noticed damage to my vehicle - although a scrape it is due to the tight, limited conditions of the small, one access area. The location and staff experienced were great but the lack of cleanliness made the stay very uncomfortable.

The hotel was good for the price...but could have been a little cleaner. I stayed one night with my two children, we visit Lubbock every month to see my fiance. Our son is crawling now and I let him play on the floor...after about 20min of crawling around his legs and feet were black. He played on the bed after that. Other than that I had no issues. It was quiet and close to everything.

Very clean, close to the school (Tx Tech)
Owners are very aware of the guest and the surroundings at all time. Move in to school is Next month and we will use Rodeway Inn Lubbock again

Our stay was good. It was a quite stay and the room was good. We needed to use a computer and printer, which we saw in the lobby but the next morning I inquired about it and the guy said it didn't work. Price was good since we were on a budget. Overall the room was good and our stay was good.

Room was smoking although requested non-smoking. In town for a college graduation and booked late so we had no choice. VERY stinky room from smoke, towels in bathroom a dingy white. The owner/staff extremely polite so that is why I gave them an excellent rating- I would not recommend this to anyone but when you fly in at 10pm and leave just after sunrise next day, it is tolerable enough to put your head on a pillow.

It is not a good hotel to relax
It is a cheap hotel, but it is very noisy and the linen on the bed is not clean, even after the room has been cleaned. You can hear your neighbor taking show in the mid-night and the noise from the road is also very disturbing. The staff is friendly so I guess maybe it is the clean person neglects his/her duty.

Where to start 1. We stood in the lobby for 5 minuets until I decided to call the hotel lobby from my cell phone, I told the staff that I was standing in the lobby 5 more minuets passed before the staff had appeared, with the excuse that they were "in the bath" 2. After going into the room decided to take a shower, the water pressure was horrible and the water would not drain fast enough, I attempted to give my kids a bath and the water would stay in the tub long enough to wash their hair. 3. Got into the bed to find out that the bottom sheet was not a fitted sheet and when I turned over the mattress became exposed.

Ice machine unplugged not working Restroom light took 10 mins to turn on Rented 3 rooms 1 room missing microwave one missing small fridge Our shower curtain had mold all the way accross the bottom No towel bar they were placed on the shower bar holders that were,connected to wall. Holes in wall of 1 room and holes in bathroom door patch fell on the floor same room dirty mattress No iron or ironing board had the holder though We asked staff not to enter our rooms ,there was no "do not disturb" they didnt understsnd
