"Spent weekend there with my best friend and his two seven year old daughters. We were even able to bring our dogs along. Property was well stocked with all the things we needed (not food, obviously). We had a great time just hanging out and fishing off the dock. Only drawback was water was too mucky to swim on that side of the lake the weekend we went."

"Loved being on the lake! Family of ducks kept us entertained. Brand new dock right out our front door. Everything was clean. Very reasonable and comfortable. The owner and caretaker were very accommodating to our needs. This property is close to town, and not far from the waterpark and brewery/winery. A great time was had by all 4 generations! ❤️"

"Cottage is just as described . I had a very comfortable stay at the cottage . Very quiet cute neighborhood. Relaxed at the home and did some trail hiking close by. Checked out local shops in town and bars for music . I was here when ice was still on the lakes but this would be a great summer place to stay for the lake activities I’m sure . I would recommend to reserve for the full weekend stay including all day Sunday so you are not in a rush to leave early Sunday checkout . Enjoyed my stay...

"The house had everything we needed in a great location. The game room was enjoyed by all especially the kids! The lake is clear, great for swimming and boating! The house is beautiful and spotless- even better than the pictures show! Thanks for an enjoyable weekend!"

"We (11 of us) had a great time at this property on Lake Darling. We caught sunfish off of the dock, the kids enjoyed playing in the water around the dock. We rented a pontoon from Lake Darling Resort, grilled, had a couple campfires. Weather was great as well. The only downsize is the busy road that the property is located on, could hear the traffic, but we spent all of our time on the lake side."

"Lake Latoya is a wonderful lake. So clean. We enjoyed using the large yard to run energy out of our 3 year old grand daughter. Cabin had everything we needed in the kitchen for utensils. As stated in the description you need to bring all of you kitchen groceries, all the way down to salt and pepper. 😁 Would go back again in a heart beat! Thank you for sharing…….let us know if you ever want to sell."

"The Blue Cabin was comfortable and provided a beautiful view of Lake Victoria. Resort owner and manager were very kind and accommodating. We talked to fishermen who said it was a great lake for fishing."

"This was a beautiful lakefront property that was very clean and ready for us when we arrived. Very quiet and peaceful every day through the weekend that we stayed. The water in the lake is beautiful and clear. Grocery stores are within a 20 minute drive into town. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a relaxing vacation on the lake!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Darling Cabin! The view of Lake Darling was absolutely beautiful, practically at our doorstep. You can tell the host put a lot of thought and care into the design, furnishings, amenities, and supplies. You can hear some traffic going by on the county road out front, but not in the Queen bedroom or main living area. The location is very convenient to town (Alexandria) and for exploring the areas beyond. We would definitely return for another cozy weekend getaway...
