"This is an ideal little place to stay when visiting Alexandria! Our family has stayed multiple times and it's always spotless. David is a friendly, responsive, accommodating host. Our son and daughter in law joined us on this trip and stayed in the second floor "addition". It was private for them and yet we could all be together to visit and enjoy the time. We'll definitely keep coming!"

"Very private and quiet. The cabin was clean and comfy. It was perfect for just us 2 adults and our 2 dogs. The scenery was lovely and the porch was a great place to sit and read.The only thing I would suggest is maybe some more basic cooking spices be provided and the grill wasn't working when we stayed, although we loved using the blackstone in it's place anyway so that wasn't a big deal for us. We would definitely book this cabin again. "

"The cleanliness issue we noticed was the inside of the drawers and fridge,freezer. Alot of animal hair under the table and dirt on the headrest of hot tub. The host was great - other than the description when we booked said there was an elevator, the one main reason we booked for our 84 yo mother. The view and lake were amazing!!! The hot tub was super fun. What a great amenity. The no see ums were terrible so it was tough outside but that's everywhere, not just here. Over all the space was perfect for us and we truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!!"
