"Fine hotel for overnight stays "

"A beautiful castle just off the road to Hamburg. Service wise, almost great. Only real let down was the exceedingly expensive breakfast that was really not worth the €30 that for 3 people almost felt like extortion. Some cold fish, a few cheeses and some tired looking charcuteries. Pancakes were fine as was the scrambled egg and bacon. But an extra €12.50 for Eggs Benedict, come on, that really is taking the biscuit! Also, had never heard of Rooibos tea, wich really was surprising for a place...

"Good overall stay. Funky hotel. Good staff and within 20 mins walk to karlsrad which is super fun on a Saturday night. Used laundry facilities, dryer was incredibly slow. Otherwise every thing else was great."
