If it's your first time travelling during COVID-19  you'll notice a host of new standards and rules in place. Take note of these tips and make your escape to Low Tatras go off without a hitch:

• Before you lock in a flight, see if any travel restrictions apply — in both your origin and destination. Get the latest updates by checking government travel advisories.
• You're required to wear a face mask at the airport, including at screening checkpoints. Be prepared to lower your mask for identification purposes when asked by a TSA officer.

• To reduce handling during screening, place personal items such as your phone, keys and wallet into your carry-on rather than into the bins.
• Transport all food items in a clear plastic bag and also place them in a screening bin. Separating food from your carry-on makes it less likely that a TSA employee will need to touch and open your bag for inspection.
