"My gf and I went and it was great, the main pool was practically free most of the time due to the personal pools most rooms had. The room pool it’s self was lovely and a nice size, although if you get too close to the edge you can see/are visible to other rooms as the walls either side ends. Rooms minimalist, comfortably furnished. Small bathroom and unusual to find no tiling at all! Always hot water available with good water pressure. Fridge & safe in our front balcony room. On street parking or car parks nearby. All no charge. Easy walking to nearby restaurants and main shopping street."

"Situated near the airport, the hotel/resort is easy to get to. The hotel will arrange airport transport for a small fee. It is well staffed and exceptionally clean. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is on the ocean with access to a nice nearby beach. Several economical restaurants are within 2-3 minutes walk. Rental cars are available at the property (requiring international driving license) and are a must for seeing the area and the island. There are no shuttles to nearby towns or other parts of the island, so the rental car is the way to go. The restaurant food is very good, as is the free breakfast. The only "down side" would be the for the breakfast buffet where food was not replaced for long periods, example fried eggs and other items went empty for a while before they were refreshed. Other than that the place is really nice."

Dinner in the Gaia offered a wide selection of options however the Selini could have offered more choice including a fresh grilled fish dish. I would definitely stay there again if I was to return to Kefalonia."
