"What a wonderful weekend we had in the Summer Kitchen at the Inn & Tavern at Meander. You first enter through the white brick columns and make you way up the driveway to the striking home at the top of the knoll that immediately transports you back in time. Our cottage was used as the kitchen for the main house 200 plus years ago and has been transformed to a well appointed spacious living space with modern conveniences and the most comfortable bed that gave us the best night's sleep. ...

"Great location. We could walk to shopping and restaurants. Small but very comfortable room. Loved the ample continental breakfast and the wine and cheese offering every afternoon. We enjoyed sitting on the porches with our morning coffee. Would definitely stay here again. loved it !!"

"This is a charming bed and breakfast. Anmenities are high end, so is the service. We stayed in a room circa 1752. The bedding however was more recent and very luxurious. The grounds are impeccable, with flowers and trimmed hedges everywhere. There are fields and even a little nature trail in the woods on the property. Its ideally located in Virginia wine country and in proximity to the homes of three past presidents, all of which you can visit. If you feel like shopping or eating out,...

Good proximity to the Skyline Drive, Charlottesville, and the White Oak Canyon trail in the Shenandoah National Park. Good breakfasts and good amenities in the room, with Keurig coffee maker, flat screen tv with streaming, and good wi-fi."
