"This is my 2nd stay at Nostalgia S hotel. For travelling it’s super close only 200 metres from the metro station. Line 5 station name Jiangcheng road exit E onto South Hefang street. It only takes 25 minutes to the main Hangzhou dong (East) railway station or 45 minutes directly to the Airport station on line 7. This hotel is a 5 minute walk from the old Hefang street shopping road where there are many shops and restaurants and historical buildings to see. Street food is safe to eat and cheap. The hotel offers free laundry, just hand in your bag of clothes in the morning and by the evening it will be done. The breakfast is suitable for both local people and international guests. The bed is not too hard, just right. The fascinating thing is the toilet which is super modern with automatic massage and cleaning functions. Quite an experience! WiFi is ok, not the fastest though. Enjoy your stay here. For the price and convenience this hotel is excellent! "

On the amenities, is a little disappointed. We stay there for 2 night and we didn’t have any shower cap, razor, hand lotion and cotton swab. These are the necessities which we use daily."

"The most beautiful and enjoyable stay. Hotel is just a year old, the amenities are beautiful. They offer daily cultural experiences like making scent tablets with a master incense maker. Beautiful pool as well although we would’ve enjoyed a warmer pool in early spring. Breakfast amazing, semi- à la carte with a buffet of fruit and pastries. Staff most accomodating as well. I’d really like to come back. The only less desirable thing was when I was loading the car on departure, a staff member came after me for payment of a stock standard canvas shoe bag that I had taken from the room. Those weren’t clearly signposted as for-sale items are usually available to us for taking so it somehow made the experience slightly weird for me especially for the price that we paid. "
