Great time on the North Cape of PEI

We had a wonderful stay at the Stewart Harbourside Cottage. The cottage is cozy. The living room/dining area is spacious, as is the breakfast room. We found the kitchen to be well equipped, as we did cook a few meals during our stay. The bedrooms are cottage-sized, but comfortable. Sleeping on most nights was comfortable, with a breeze coming through the windows but a couple of nights were quite hot so we would recommend bringing extra fans. We were told by several locals that we were there during one of the hottest summers. There is a nice restaurant (The Catch) with ice cream parlour less than 5 minutes walk from the cottage. The road is paved and quite flat, so it is an easy walk. We enjoyed going to the nearby beach (and walking to the West Point Lighthouse) but also found some beautiful (and empty) sandy beaches within 30 minutes driving distance. Although you need to be prepared to drive around a little, this location is a great place to get away and relax, far from the more tourist-y areas such as Summerside. The North Cape is a beautiful area that needs to be experienced!
