"Great hotel with private beach access and rooftop pool, comfortable rooms and very clean and good condition. The staff was a little bit hopeless both in terms of service and also housekeeping. The house margaritas could do with some improvement :) (but Spicy Tuna down the road does an mazing marg!) Overall it was a good stay. "

"I celebrated my 40th birthday at Casa Dorado so I wanted a resort that wasn't filled with crazy college kids. It was chill and very laid back. The staff was amazing and our room was clean. The only thing I didn't care for was the people trying to convince us to attend a timeshare presentation in the lobby. "

"The property and staff are fantastic! It’s happily secluded from the hubbub of San Jose del Cabo, but that also exacerbates the cost of already expensive transportation to venues outside the hotel."

"The property was beautiful. Wish the beach was more accessible, but wasn't a big deal. Pool was fabulous and our waiter Juan was amazing. He took great care of us during our entire trip. He made sure we had chairs each day, water, food and drinks. Only negative thing I could say is the pool chairs are uncomfortable, but I would absolutely go back again. "

"Overall I’d give it 4 stars. The staff was amazing. Bell boys and the little shopping center inside the resort were awesome. Some of the downs were some of the cleaning ladies were really rude when I tried to be friendly and say good morning. We had a junior suite and the water pressure was not that great. It would turn hot and cold when it wanted to. Found a few live bugs. Spider, gnats and looked like a small beetle looking insect. Overall okay resort. "
