Location was great. Supplies of toilet paper and paper towels were too low for our stay. We really enjoyed our stay and the house and would book again.
The location of this property was fantastic! It was easy to walk to restaurant options on 2nd St or to the beach. Parking was never a problem for us. We enjoyed sitting outside in the front and deck spaces. The big round table was perfect for game nights! This house was cute, comfy and perfect for our group of 8. We would definitely stay here again!
Loved to location and 95% of the house! It could use a little more silverware and a coffee maker other than the keurig. Never had a problem finding street parking.
We had an amazing visit and love love loved the house and it’s location. We took a day to go to a Disney and another to drive to Venice Beach. Easy peasy!
Our stay was amazing. The house was perfect for our size family. The bedrooms were very spacious and beds were very comfortable. The front patio was relaxing for sitting out in the evenings! The location and proximity to the beach was awesome and was very close to many stores and restaurants. Communication was spectacular and very friendly. We are definitely coming back. Highly recommended!
Clean house very close to beach. Enjoyed the neighbourhood (borrowed sugar from the neighbor) and proximity to shops and restaurants. Property manager is super helpful. Only thing they should get is curtains for upstairs master. Bring eye covering to sleep
Loved this house- it is super cute and close to everything. We walked to eat at night and walked on the beach each morning. The house was clean except for some garbage under the master bed. The house wasn't very stocked. We ran out of toilet paper by day 2 and it was hard to cook (only two pans, no cookie sheets, only like 6 forks total). Oh, and no extra blankets. The house is older so bring your ear plugs as you can hear every move anyone makes. The master has zero blinds so also bring an eye mask as the lights at night and sunrise is pretty intense. All in all, we had a blast and the house was super cute.
this is an awesome location only a half block from the beach and a few blocks to shopping and eateries. I didn't give a 5 star rating for the accuracy of the listing because we were unaware of the number of stairs and the steepness. the property is a bit tired but nothing that impacted our enjoyment. the property manager responded immediately when advised a towel rail fell off the bathroom wall and sent out a repairman. two coffee mugs were chipped and we notified the pm so am sure they will be replaced. please be mindful the beds are quite soft if that is an issue for you....we were fine.
Charming space in a great location. Nice decor and overall had a great stay.

To be honest, this was not an enjoyable Vrbo stay. Dimly lit and cold house even with space heaters, broken lamps and lumpy pillows in master, dirty looking washcloths, bugs in downstairs bed, lightbulbs out in bathroom, no privacy curtains on master windows, clogged bathroom sink (with no resolution after contacting concierge) broken/loose tile upstairs bathroom floor, couldn’t get outside to utilize deck off main bathroom as doors would not open. Some improvements would go a long way with this property.

Property was poor, no air conditioning, pretty downtrodden as compared to my normal experiences.
This was the perfect location and rental for visiting local relatives. We were within walking distance of Second Street shopping, restaurants, and the beach. We were a mile walk down Ocean Blvd to the Alamitos Yacht Club. We enjoyed a game night around the big dining table and had a relaxing time touring the canals of Naples in a rented Duffy boat.
This is the perfect place for a family vacation, located one block from the beach. The furnishing are stylish and comfortable and the kitchen is fully equipped. The home includes 3 separate outdoor spaces to relax, including a rooftop patio where you can see the ocean! We had a great time and would highly recommend to anyone considering staying in Long Beach.
We were a group of 8 adults, majority of them visiting out of town. The house was perfect for our needs and was much bigger in person than the sense I got of it just from the photos. There was plenty of room for all of us, it is walking distance from the beach and walking distance from the main strip with lots of bars, restaurants and such. I recommend bringing everything you may need foodwise, the kitchen was fully stocked as far as cookware goes but we bought essentials asthey were gone or barely any left such as salt, olive oil, etc. I know these are not requirements, it's just most rentals have stocked spices, oil, vinegar and similar essentials so we didn't initially buy those. Nevertheless, not something I'm taking any points off for. If you are curious to explore Long Beach, I think this is a great house and location.

Small Fixes Would Make a Big Difference
My family stayed at Villa La Verne in May. There was 8 of us and it was a perfect size and location for us to all stay together for my son’s graduation from CSULB. Unfortunately, the house is advertised as having a queen sized bed in one of the rooms and it was only a full. This was uncomfortable for my parents who had to share a tiny bed. There were no blinds in the upstairs bedroom so I had to change in the closet for privacy. There were loose tiles on the upstairs bathroom floor, and missing screens on some of the windows. Small inexpensive things that would have made a big difference. Communication with the host was great until I had a complaint about no blinds in the upstairs bedroom. She said she would check with the owners about putting up a sheet in the bedroom with no blinds for privacy, but never heard back. Then after our stay, I messaged the host again to let her know of the other things in the house that needed to be fixed, and the inaccurate advertising of a queen bed. Again, I never heard back. So now I am posting an honest review. Small fixes would have made a big difference, and would be a more accurate advertisement of the property.
