My bridge partner and I always find a home to stay in near our bridge tournament venue instead of staying at the host hotel. We try to be walking distance from the venue. Brandon's place was an easy walk to the Hilton on Ocean Blvd. His place was clean, comfortable, had a nice layout and had a well stocked kitchen to make our meals. We will stay there again if the bridge venue is nearby.
First off, this place is awesome! We stayed here 4 nights/5 days while on vacation. I’m a stickler for comfort and this place checked all my boxes. The beds are memory foam and comfortable. The showers are hot and have adjustable heads, higher-end shampoo and conditioner provided. Fully stocked kitchen which saved us a lot of money making breakfast at home. There are a few treasures the owners don’t tell you about in the description so you’ll just have to book it to find out! The neighborhood is decent, only a block from the Convention Center/downtown Long Beach and had zero issues with the neighbors. Everyone we talked to was very nice and friendly. Lots of good food options that are very close. Never had issues with crime or felt unsafe. The owner is very responsive and helpful. We sleep hot and asked for a fan which they did not have, but they went out of their way to buy one and had it set up upon our arrival. If we ever visit LA again we will definitely be back!
