Shower was clogged upon arrival. When presented the issue to the staff, they did not communicate it well with maintenance and sounded confused about the issue when it was very simple when explained. Not many dining establishments in walking distance. Room service doesn’t come by often. A couple of rooms near us had food outside their door a whole day and it made the hallway stink really bad. TV has horrible reception. Had to constantly switch channels back and worth while watching one show to get decent reception. Vent in the restroom did not work, lighting was very dim. The only good thing I could say was the bed was comfortable. I took my own blankets, so I didn’t sleep under theirs. I believe I didn’t get my money’s worth and will definitely look into another hotel if I ever visit California again.

Arrived to pubic hair on the door frame of the bathroom. Cobwebs over the bed. Stains in the carpet and sofa. “Balcony” room purchased turned out to be ground level room with a window bolted shut. Outdoor area on the other side of wi Dow houses ladders and other equipment. Curtains very difficult to maneuver and did not close all the way. Housekeeping service once during our 4 night stay. Dirty dishes and service items littering hallway outside of our room for days at a time. Overall, a real miss.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great to explore not only Pasadena, but other LA area spots with just a short walk to the A Train and bus lines.
