Great location and house

The location of this property is beautiful, and the house was clean and well-designed. We were a group of 3 adults, and the 2 bedroom space was perfect for our needs for a quick two-night visit to the area.

Great Place

Incredible location and property

Awesome 5 night stay! Enjoyed many easy trips to broad beach and nearby hiking. The cottage is well appointed, clean and offers some of the best ocean and mountain views around. Perfect for two couples or a family of four.

This wonderful property is on the top of a mountain, with breathtaking views of the valley. The front faces an ocean view. The grounds are spectacular and the house is perfectly equipped and appointed. We had a lovely stay

Wonderful Stay

Stayed here with spouse and teenaged children in July. Everyone loved the place immediately and we had a great time in Malibu. This was the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. The views of ocean and mountains are amazing and the place is quiet and peaceful yet so close to everything. Highly recommend!

Idyllic Malibu Hideaway

Beautiful secluded property and views of the ocean, old vineyard and canyon. It was so wonderful to come home from the hustle and bustle of Malibu each day to our little oasis. Sitting on the porch with a glass of wine and enjoying the sunset was sublime. Robin was a wonderful, responsive host. We would definitely come back again!

Amazing place with STUNNING VIEWS!

If you're looking for a place to base, that's close to everything, yet feels like you're out of the city, this is the place! I cant say enough about how serene and peaceful the property is. The view of the ocean is absolutely beautiful and every room has a view of it. There's another sitting area on the property that overloooks a vineyard and canyon. Little frogs greet you at night and you're far enough from the city to see the stars. Such a great little hidden gem!

Peace, Quiet, View

Wonderful location on a hill with ocean view. Very peaceful and quiet. Accommodations are clean and simple with cement floors and rugs; not fancy but completely adequate, The point here is the outside. Great long porch. Will definitely book again. Hard-to-find type of property. Serious get-away feeling.

A peaceful slice of Malibu!

We SO enjoyed our stay at Robin’s place. The front porch overlooks the ocean, and the back area has gorgeous views of the mountains. The layout was perfect, with an en-suite on each side of the living area and kitchen. Perfect for two couples, or in our case, a family traveling with kids. Robin was so communicative and gave us suggestions that made our trip truly memorable. Vintage Grocers, just down the hill, had great prepared food options, and the local beaches were absolutely gorgeous. We can’t wait to go back!

Pacific View

Girls weekend! Friday night concert at Trance's Market. Saturday we didn’t leave the Trancus Vineyard property. Had a great time playing games, noshing, and catching up. The views are wonderful. Nice grassy knoll and patio. Thank you Robin for this great escape.

One of a Kind Stay in the Hills of Malibu

We had the most amazing few days in one of our favorite places. This is our 4th time staying here and we absolutely love it. The views of the ocean and mountains are amazing early morning and as the sun goes down in the evening. Very quiet and peaceful with trails into the Santa Monica mountains and glorious views of the ocean below. Enjoy Broad beach and the endless views it has. Full kitchen, living room and beautiful bedrooms. We find it hard to leave this beautiful place every time ... until the next time. Thank you so much Robin.

Great location, great views

This is a wonderful spot! The cottage is set on a former vineyard - the vines are still growing! If you look south, you look over Malibu and the Pacific Ocean. If you look north, you will be looking at views over the vineyards and into a scenic canyon. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the comfortable chairs, looking at the views and watching a flock of wild parrots fly around. The cottage has two units. Although the other unit was also occupied, we felt very private and secluded and hardly saw or heard the other guests. The home was very clean and very well supplied. A wonderful experience! We will be back.
