I stayed here for three nights. The unit was as pictured—small but comfortable, clean enough, and the bed was good. It’s a simple setup with just a microwave (no range or oven), which was fine for a short stay; kind of like a very nice dorm room.A couple of issues made the experience less pleasant, though. The entrance to the Vrbo is through the backyard, which wasn’t an issue at first. However, after I’d already settled in, three large dogs began roaming the yard, often unsupervised. They weren’t there when I first arrived, so I was surprised to find them later—and since I had no idea how they might react to a stranger walking out into their space, I felt pretty uneasy coming and going. The listing didn’t mention the dogs at all, which really should have been disclosed.Another concern was the repeated messaging about parties. Over the course of my stay, I was sent reminders no fewer than four times, that absolutely no parties were allowed—once in all caps, threatening eviction if the rule was broken. While I understand wanting to set clear expectations, the tone made me feel guilty even though I hadn’t done anything wrong. That said, aside from those particular messages, the host was cordial, friendly, and always responded quickly to any questions.Overall, the unit itself was fine, but the unexpected presence of large dogs and the heavy-handed messaging about parties detracted from the experience.
