Great Place to Stay

Garden oasis

Koi Pond Oasis

Wonderful home centrally located!

We had a wonderful stay! Everything is clean and comfortable. There are so many little touches to make the stay great. We loved the koi pond and spent most of our time in the backyard, enjoying the beautiful foliage and breeze. Thank you for having us!

A home with everything you could need !

The home was very cozy and comfortable! It was supplied with everything you could need to prepare your meals and enjoy the lovely kitchen . The yard was nice to hang out in and enjoy meals outdoors . We had a great stay

Fabulous place in NOHO!

Couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay! The backyard is like an oasis, and the coi pond is very relaxing. The hosts, David and Layna were very easy to contact and responded quickly.

Charming home

I booked this home for a weekend for extended family. Booking was very smooth with easy instructions for access and parking. The home is in a treelined neighborhood and near a large shopping complex and freeway. Charming home. Thank you.

Boho spring break

We had a fantastic time. The house is beautiful! The grounds are gorgeous! Kitchen well stocked. The bedrooms are cozy with comfortable beds! The host is lovely and would answer all questions quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

North Hollywood gem

We had a great stay. It was just a few minutes from our daughter and family in Valley Glen. So convenient to Trader Joe’s and movie theatre and restaurants in the area. Lovely garden. Lots of amenities in the home.

Lovely NoHo homebase

Our family of 4 stayed here for a few days over spring break. The house is just as described and a lovely home. The kitchen is really well appointed and had all the necessary kitchen tools. The backyard is so gorgeous with all the plants and koi pond. There is also a Trader Joe’s and a few restaurants within a very short walk. Great house!

Great little Gem in North Hollywood

We loved staying at Layna and David's home. It's a very unique, decorated, older fashioned home with the wood and tile floors. Communication with the host was quick and easy. Great neighborhood with very friendly neighbors. Large refrigerator, gas O'Keefe and Merritt stove which I loved cooking on. Very comfortable beds, large sofa and chairs. Beautiful back yard oasis! I would stay here again if I was needing to be in the area. The comfort of the home makes you feel right at home as if it were your own. Highly recommended if you're in the area. A+++++

A great fit

I have to start by saying that Layna and David seem like very delightful people. They were easy to work with and generous. The house was very comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen. The backyard was larger than we'd expected and was perfect for nice weather. It is well fenced and we were happy the dogs had an interesting space to explore between naps. In addition to the Koi pond, the back yard has a large BBQ and table, and we enjoyed a warm summer night dinner with our nephew and his partner. This was our first VRBO stay and a great fit for us.

Beautiful, Relaxing Backyard... Great Location... Awesome Hosts

Property worked out well. Was attending wedding in Glendale / Burbank areas. Peaceful backyard with incredible lemon tree and pond. A peaceful garden near the hustle of North Hollywood. New mall down the street with shops and grocery. Parking a bit questionable but hosts explain it to you. Enjoyed this property and would recommend to anyone visiting greater LA.

Bright and Cheerful

We came down for a 50th birthday party for a friend, and saw this listing on VRBO. The photos made this place look like a magical home and we jumped on it. We were not disappointed. House is cozy and the backyard is amazing. Love the home decor and we totally saw some Morocco photos that we recognized from a trip we took there ourselves. Hated to leave, and will definitely look to utilize this home if we come back to the area. The owners were very good about communicating, and check in and check out were easy and painless. Awesome experience. :)

Checks all the boxes, and then some

With this being my first stay in the LA area of any considerable duration, and coming from the east coast, this property / house / home was outstanding in every regard. A peaceful and welcoming home in a great location, quiet neighborhood, well-equipped, and convenient for the purpose of my trip. The backyard garden / patio is an oasis. My daughter and I loved this house! Layna and David provided excellent instructions and communications before, during, and after our stay. Thank you so much for offering up your home!

Lovely peaceful stau

The home itself is a gorgeous property. Much roomier than the photos depict. Especially the backyard / garden. We had a great time cooking in the kitchen on the vintage range / oven. The street was quaint, a short drive to many places we were interested in visiting. I wouldn’t recommend walking anywhere from this location... a stroll around the neighbourhood perhaps. Layna was very attentive and responded very quickly to questions and requests. Highly recommend this beautiful place!

Delightful getaway

We just returned home from a relaxing 6-day stay in this lovely house, and are already talking about when we can make plans to come back. The house is even prettier than depicted in the listing, filled with beautiful artwork and photographs, thoughtfully decorated with comfortable antique furniture, and outfitted with a well-equipped kitchen that was a delight to cook in. My very favorite feature, though, was the back garden. Even though it was early March (and cold and wet by Los Angeles standards!), we spent as much time as we could in the backyard, enjoying the beautiful plants and garden decoration, relaxing to the sounds of the fountain and listening to the birds. 10/10 would visit again in a heartbeat.
