This 100 year old Pasadena home exudes old world charm with large, formal living room, dining room & kitchen spaces, 5 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, kitchenette, covered veranda w/mountain view for morning coffee, garden patio for outdoor dining under the trees. Separate 400 sf fully equipped guest cottage. A unique, cozy and stylish nest close to Caltech, The Rose Bowl, Huntington Gardens, The Art Center, Lake Avenue & Old Town Pasadena, 1 block to bus stop, 4 blocks to 210 fwy & Metro Gold line. Complimentary Fluff n'Fold service with 24 hour turnaround.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING WHICH WE MUST UNFORTUANETLY HIGHLIGHT:
1) PARTIES/SOCIAL EVENTS: In accordance with VRBO policy, there is a STRICT BAN on all kinds of mass gatherings, loud parties, and the like. This home is located in a quiet and peaceful residential neighborhood with retirees on all four sides. Violation of this policy will result in cancellation of the reservation without any refund, and you will be asked to immediately leave the property. You will be responsible if the City is notified and imposes a $1,300 fine for such activity.

2) SMOKING: Smoking is not allowed inside the house anywhere at all. Smoking is allowed outside. If any trace of smoke is found inside the home, there will be a strictly enforced $250 fee to get rid of residual odors.

3) PETS: We welcome furry friends but please note there will be a $100 fine for any damage or stains caused by pets.

Great location and big house

We really enjoyed the house, very nice the host left some snacks and bathroom supplies beyond what we have experienced before. Especially enjoyed the porch and patios. Great location as well, easy walking to several restaurants etc. Would certainly stay again. We had 12 adults and one infant.

Absolutely Wonderful

My family stayed here for my son's college graduation and Wedding (both the same weekend). Everyone loved the charm of the house and the amazing gardens. The host was great to deal with and communicated everything needed for the weekend. I highly recommend this home and would stay here again if the need arises.

Sibling Reunion

The pictures of the house in the listing do not do justice to it - so much better actuality. This is a very livable, comfortable and convenient location in Pasadena. The house is big - we were ten and never felt crowded - plenty of space. The host, Charles, was very communicative and accommodating. We would most definitely stay here again.

Great spot for family events

We booked for four nights for my son's wedding. Our party totaled twelve including immediate family, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins. The house is large and easily accommodated our group. The well equipped kitchen and multiple socializing areas indoors and outdoors allowed us to host a meet and greet with the in-laws-to-be in settings ranging from jovial (kitchen) to quiet and reflective (cottage patio). Charles was an excellent and caring host, with uniformly quick and helpful responses to all inquiries from pre-booking through checkout. In all aspects, everything was as advertised. Without reservation, we would book with Charles again in future.

Lovely vintage home with an amazing host!

If I could give Charles, himself as a host, more than 5 stars I absolutely would! My group had a bad experience with a different rental, so we were all a bit skittish to do a house again, but Charles was so very communicative from the day I rented until today (our check out day). His home is charming with all the craftsman style of the homes of that era, but a nicely updated kitchen. The bedrooms fit our party of 8 friends perfectly for our 3 day stay. He is a thoughtful host with all of his personal touches, too. If we have another chance to rent Charle's home again, for another event, I will be so happy to do so! Thank you for everything, Charles. I appreciate you.

Wonderful house!

We all had a fantastic weekend at this lovely vintage house. One of our grandkids said it was his favorite house ever! Our host was terrific - very responsive and gave us excellent recommendations. Highly recommend this place.

Family Thanksgiving Gathering

Charles, our host, was fantastic and responded to our few texts within minutes. We will definitely return. This historic Pasadena home was a charming holiday gathering place for my family. The large kitchen and formal dining rooms were perfect — roomy for the preparation of large meals (5 cooks) and the beautifully decorated dining room made for great Thanksgiving photos. The joys of a nightly wood-burning fireplace with our family sipping hot cocoa topped off our cozy evenings. The stunning gardens filled with flowering roses, azaleas and geraniums complete with gorgeous moutain views were so relaxing in this peaceful community. We could not have enjoyed a nicer family holiday — thank you Charles
