Sweetbrier Cottage is our cozy two bedroom, one bath getaway. Relax with the whole family at this local architect built 1979 home. Oversized wood post and beam contruction, oak floors, and updated kitchen with built-ins, full supply of kitchen gadgets and granite counter tops, a full bathroom with a claw-foot tub and dual-head shower. With lots of amenities, this lovely house in the country is a gem, inviting you in to enjoy a comfortable stay. A bonus loft and treehouse for fun, big yard, and 5 minutes from the village!

A peaceful retreat and lovely location

What a lovely spacious post and beam home. I loved the skylights in every room, and the broad covered porch for drinking coffee in the mornings. Peaceful views across the island. So quiet at night. Owls in the woods, robins at dawn. Every possible need, down to the smallest detail is offered to guests, a beautifully equipped kitchen, comfy beds, and shelves full of books. Such a warm and welcome feel to the whole place. Thanks for the restful stay.

Sweetbrier Cottage

This was a perfect place for us, and it exceeded our expectations. The esthetic is comfortable and personal. Benjamin, property manager, was easy and wonderful to work with. The house is a half mile off the main road, so very quiet, private and peaceful. The view across the meadows to forest and ponds is beautiful. Nice round trip walk along access road to stretch ones legs. Bed very comfortable and plenty of extra blankets. The kitchen is great for cooking - everything we needed and more. Bathroom great - good shower and tub for soaking. All very clean. We relaxed in the living area, nice gas fire & great entertainment TV. Cozy nook off kitchen for napping. The game closet contains many great games & puzzles. It is very close to Lopez Village (10 minute drive) and all the parks are easy to get to for hiking. Also, amazing tree house. We hope to return in the near future.

Great cabin in a peaceful setting

Large cabin with everything needed. Two bedrooms, large bathroom, and well equipped/stocked kitchen. Easy check-in process and good communication.
