"Had a lovely stay at Pengelly Farmhouse. A beautiful properly, spotlessly clean and lovely thoughtful touches. Homemade biscuits were lovely and even some treats for our dog. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and perfectly cooked! We will most definitely be back again, thank you!"

"A lovey 300 year old cottage. Beautiful rooms. Spotlessly clean. A full English breakfast sets you up for the day. Paula and Simon are wonderful hosts, very welcoming. We felt like we were visiting friends. Well located for getting around the area, Eden project and popular beaches and harbours a short distance away.

"Parking easy, reception area not great but checked in ok and shown to room. Room is fine but tired and kitchen too dark and poor quality fittings. Shower not high pressure but ok.
A good freshly cooked full English breakfast, and friendly owners. "

"Staff were friendly, room is very outdated and had a strange smell. Beds were average, shower was good. Breakfast in the morning wasn’t fantastic, we paid £120 for one night stay with breakfast but not sure it’s quite worth that to be honest. Wouldn’t stay here again."

"Friendly & professional staff. Breakfast was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for example, requesting a bucket of soapy water / sponge to clean our car of seagull droppings every morning. Also, a guest in an above room to ours left his bath tap running & then laid on his bed to "rest" causing his room & ours, to flood! On informing the staff that there is a major leak happening into our room from above, they immediately contacted the other guest / stopped the bath overflowing & once they'd secured his bathroom, offered us an alternative room & compensation for our trouble - through no fault of their own. I highly recommend the Claremont Hotel, Polperro."
A tranquil fishermans cottage a minute from the beach with free reserved parking
10/10 Excellent
"The cottage was beautiful, everything we required was there and available. It is pristine clean and very comfortable. It is within a few yards walking distance to the beach with plenty of places to eat and explore. However it is not suitable for the less mobile person's.The car park although has a free alokated space but it is quite away from the cottage. We loved it and would happily stay again."
"Amazing place to stay staff couldn't more helpfull .... mentioned it was my partners birthday and they did the room up couldn't fault it and will definitely be back"
"Lovely weekend stay. Great value and easy parking included. Great breakfast included served fresh to order and all cooked beautifully. Warm welcome lovely view of sea. Only improvement would be thicker curtains as sun came beaming in at 4am! Takes around 20-30 mins to walk around harbour to East Looe and great choice of restaurants. 100% recommended. "
"Two night mid week Easter break at this fabulous guest house.
Superb spacious room overlooking the river, fabulous hosts, amazing breakfast, can’t rate it highly enough and, we hit the jackpot with the weather🌞 location is spot on for the shops and there’s a bus stop and taxi rank literally on the doorstep which we used to explore locally.
Many thanks for your hospitality and we will definitely see you again. Richard, Tracey & Emily.

Two bedroom holiday cottage in a quiet rural location.
10/10 Excellent
"This is a lovely cottage for couples or small families. Matthew made us very welcome and was a friendly and informative host. Cottage was warm with central heating and excellent hot water. Views are wonderful and apart from the occasional tractor the area is quiet and beautiful. "
"The hosts are lovely, the welcome couldn’t have been warmer. The breakfasts, cooked to order, were excellent and preceded by the selection of fresh fruit, seeds etc you usually only find in a big posh hotel. I even got a free parking place! "
