"The cottage was wonderful once we got in, but on arrival the information from vrbo was totally wrong and we couldn’t get in. I rang the Vrbo helpline and after having been cut off twice i managed to speak to someone, but unfortunately they couldn’t understand what i was saying to them and they were no help at all. In the end we went the cottage next door to find where the proprietor lived and dealt with her directly to access the cottage."

"This was a fabulous place to celebrate my 70th holiday with children and grandchildren, aged between 18 months and 12 years. The house was spacious and really comfortable and well-equipped. It was great to have two canoes (and life-jackets) with easy access to the river, and wonderful views from the decked area. We had glorious weather and superb day-trips on the nearby ferry over to Glendurgan Gardens etc. Really hoping to come again one day."

"Amazing holiday. A couple of minuses which have been passed on...needs a new mattress..and no nice reclining garden chairs..nice new wooden ones not built for comfort. But the location was amazing."

"Great apartment, very spacious and clean with fabulous views of the sea. Comfortable beds and adequate facilities. Conveniently located for the harbour, shops and lovely coastal walks. We would recommend that the back door locks were replaced, as they were rusted and they could not be locked from the outside which would be much more convenient to access the beach below. "

"Really nice upside down house to get the best of the sea views. Pub a very short walk and beaches close too. House has everything you need for a break and Porthleven is a nice town to visit and is close enough to other local places."

"Lovely property. Great location. Problem with heating and electricity on arrival but swiftly sorted out. Bedroom with bunk beds very small and need to be fairly nimble getting to the top bunk! Would recommend overall"

"Sweet little place. Not wrong about access to the kitchen...! But not a problem for a nimble 6'2" fella! It's in a very quiet location with good access to the town centre and harbour. Would highly recommend The Ship Inn, and Ann's Pasties, and The Catch for fish and chips "

Love all the staffs except housekeeping

"The front desk staffs are super friendly and helpful. Helping change room for me because the room was too warm in the summer (no air condition). The lodge I stayed is lovely, the sea view is stunning. The dinner is super nice, banana pudding is the best, steak is really good, staffs are lovely. Unfortunately the housekeeping got inside the lodge I stayed at 8:00 am, left her cleaning bag in front of our door when she found out I was inside, then she hanging around the lodge waiting for us to leave until 11:00 check out time. I don't understand why?"

"My wife and I had an amazing holiday experience. This hotel boasts a beautiful location overlooking the sea and the b dramatic Cornish coastline. The staff are super friendly and simply do everything in their power to make your stay memorable. The food is excellent and the amenities top notch. We will be returning next year as will a number of our friends."
