The Trail's Motel was clean and quiet. The front desk was quick and kind plus the laundry was open 24 hours. Good location for catching the bus and close to restaurants.

The room was clean and comfortable. I appreciated that the sheets weren’t stark, bleached white, like every other motel room has. Check-in was easy and the desk attendant was friendly!

Three friends and I stayed here for our Mt. Whitney climb. Pretty standard motel, but the rooms and property were clean and well maintained. Bed was firm but comfortable. There is a pool and laundry room onsite which we used and it worked perfectly. About a 20min drive from the Whitney Portal and just a short walk to shops and restaurants in town. The owner/operator was constantly out working and maintaining the rooms and grounds. Seems like they take pride in their work and it shows. We’d all stay here again when visiting Lone Pine.

We liked the location. This is our second stay in Lone Pine, first time at Trails. The Grill was an easy two block walk and we really enjoyed dinner there.
