About this property
Design-Led 3-Bed Home with Garden, Sauna, Hot Tub & Parking
Arrive after a long flight, or simply a long day, and everything is already waiting for you.
The Eylewood is a design-led 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home in West Norwood, South London, designed by an interior designer. Spanning 1,425 sq ft (132 sq m) across three floors, with a private landscaped 57 ft (17.4 m) south-west-facing garden, cedar sauna, hot tub and off-street parking for two cars, it offers something increasingly difficult to find in London: enough space to settle in properly.
This is not a holiday flat.
It is a real London home.
The ground floor is designed around living together. A spectacular 25-foot kitchen with a marble island, steam oven and generous dining space opens completely onto the garden through full-width bi-fold doors. Morning coffee drifts outside. Lunch follows. Dinner settles beneath the pergola. Before long, the garden stops feeling separate from the house and simply becomes another room.
The south-west-facing garden has been designed to be lived in rather than looked at. The cedar sauna reaches temperature in around twenty minutes, the hot tub is ready whenever you've arranged it to be, and the barbecue, outdoor dining area and generous seating make it just as enjoyable on a Tuesday evening as it is for a long weekend with family.
There are 3 generous bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, including 2 walk-in en suites, one with its own private steam room. A fourth room opens directly from the principal suite. At approximately 150 sq ft (14 sq m), it comfortably accommodates a full child's bed and works equally well as a nursery, private study or quiet reading room. Fast Wi-Fi, thoughtful design and generous proportions make working from home feel effortless.
The Eylewood combines the space of a family home with one of South London's most liveable neighbourhoods.
West Norwood is where people move once they know London well. Independent cafés replace chains. Neighbours recognise one another. Parks, schools and local restaurants are part of everyday life, while Central London remains comfortably within reach.
West Norwood station is around a 10-minute walk, with direct trains to:
The commute is one of the property's best surprises: close enough for daily meetings in the City or Victoria, yet far enough away to come home to peace, greenery and space.
Families relocating to London particularly value the location's proximity to some of the capital's leading independent schools, including Dulwich College, Alleyn's School, James Allen's Girls' School and Rosemead Preparatory School, all easily reached from the house.
Just beyond the front door is the London many visitors never discover. Morning coffee at Pintadera or Caffè Luna. Long lunches in Dulwich Village. Evenings around the restaurants, wine bars and cafés of Crystal Palace. Norwood Park is only a three-minute walk away, while Crystal Palace Park, Brockwell Park and Dulwich Park are all close enough to become part of your weekly routine. On the first Sunday of every month, West Norwood Feast transforms the high street with more than one hundred independent food producers, artisan makers and local businesses.
Whether you're relocating to London, between homes, travelling for work, staying during renovations, working in film and television, or simply planning a longer visit, The Eylewood provides something hotels and conventional holiday rentals rarely can: the feeling that you've found somewhere you genuinely enjoy living.
Throughout your stay, you'll be looked after directly by The Colville Edit, founded by hospitality professionals whose careers include The Goring in London and Alain Ducasse's operation in partnership with the Qatar Royal Family. That experience shapes everything from how the house is prepared before arrival to the responsiveness, discretion and personal service you'll receive throughout your stay.
The Eylewood is particularly well suited to stays of 30 to 180 nights, where guests have the time to experience the neighbourhood as residents do rather than simply passing through.
