"A very good hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The room we booked was spacious and had two queen beds which we found quite comfortable. The fridge is stocked up daily with two bottles of mineral water as well as the usual teas, coffees and biscuits. Our only gripe with the room was the TV, the preset volume limit is so low that we could hear from literally a foot away. "Service was great, hotel was clean and located well for proximity to site I was working. Problems I found were that the bed was too short therefore I woke up with a very painful lower back multiple times through the night, and the air-con claims to run constantly (hence unable to open the window) but for some reason switched itself off after an hour or two, so I woke up each morning drenched in sweat. Unfortunately a very uncomfortable nights sleep throughout my stay. "

"Palmers Lodge was a hospital, converted some time ago to a hostel. So, it is large. There is a delightful cafe area downstairs serving beer, and with garden seating. They have organized activities each evening. Laundry facilities are limited but a plus. The price was amazingly low for London. Camden is a neighborhood on the rise, just 20-30 minutes by Tube from any destination in London you might choose. The two convenient Tube stations are three minutes away by foot. "
