"The cabin is set back in a large stand of mature Live Oaks and Cedar Elms which provide lots of shade and the patio is huge, great for meals and hanging out. The cabin is incredibly clean, well decorated (rustic), very cozy, relaxing and well stocked with most everything you might need. The well water is delicious and clean! We really enjoyed the goats visiting us in the morning and evening. They are very respectful and Mayor Ringo is affectionate like a dog, he loves to be petted! Beth gave us a tour of their family's Century Ranch while sharing it's rich Texas history. I love Texas so her stories gave me goose bumps! Beth and Tom are amazing stewards of their property and love to share it with their guests if you like.We will be going back!P.S. The drive to Colorado Bend SP via US 580 is a gorgeous 30 minute drive with lots of elevation change and twisting roads! Amazing views!"

"The cabin was exactly as pictured—very clean, well-kept, and in a great location with easy access to the river and Colorado Bend State Park. The host was very responsive, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I appreciated the welcome book with helpful info on local spots, as well as the pet-friendly setup. It made for such a relaxing weekend getaway!"
