"The place itself was nice and the location was convenient for the ferry. However, we specifically booked this property and paid extra compared to other options because the listing said there was a washing machine. When we arrived, we were told there was no washing machine, which was very frustrating as we are on a long road trip and needed to do laundry. "We had a great (3-nights) stay at Strandhotellet. It is a lovely stylish hotel with a quaint atmosphere, and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We received excellent service and the staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming. Note if you stay during the warmer season: There’s no AC in the room or ventilation in the bathrooms. The room had a small portable fan which we turned on at night: We would have preferred to leave the patio doors open, to experience the ocean breeze but due to...

"Lovely room and staff. Booked this just for one night as a stop over before the Hirtshals ferry and worked out well. Room was bigger than I was expecting with a hall and big bathroom. Restaurant was buzzing which was great to see."
