When walking on the beach in Løkken, Denmark I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this beautiful view. A very recommend place to visit! #BVStrove
Welcome to Denmark !! This is Rubjerg Knudle Lighthouse near Aalborg on the Northwestern coast of the North Sea. It was first lite in 1900 and was functional to 1969. The interior (somewhat unsafe brick and stairs) will be closed in a year and the entire structure is expected to be swallowed by the sea within 10 years. It was officially closed as a Lighthouse in 1969 and later in 1980 re opened as a giant Kaleidoscope. The 3 supporting houses next to the lighthouse have already been destroyed by the encroaching sea and deepening sand dunes. This will be a casually of global warming and the encroachment of the sea.
An old lighthouse build in 1900 and placed on a cliff 60m above sea level. Over time, the lighthouse has been swallowed by the sand dunes, which make a a very unique place to visit. This is a must to visit if you're in Denmark/Jutland. There is a parking lot 1 km- ish from the lighthouse and a great walk path right from the parking lot to the lighthouse.

A nice camping ground with good facilities for kids (great water slide) and friendly helpful staff. The downside are the usual Danish campsite things, extra payment for every little thing.
