It was ok. I've stayed in better and worse. 1. The hot tub didn't work the 2nd day and we were just too tired to call or deal with it 2. It was buggy- 3. There a mouse problem. I saw other people have brought it up so either it hasn't been dealt with or it's an ongoing problem. Mice don't bother me but there were dropping on the stove and counters. I wouldn't make food there. It was cute, we liked the decor and the quaintness

It was a pretty good stay
I will first say that I have been spoiled by REALLY good cottages/cabins over the years, so my opinions are probably skewed. Overall, this was a pretty good stay. When we first arrived and walked in, it seemed a bit creepy, I think just because of all of the antique furniture and decor. However, with that said, it does title itself a "Celtic Cottage," and the decor matches that description. Something I wish I would have noticed in the description beforehand is just how small it is. I traveled with my husband and my two teenage daughters, and it was simply too small. Another thing I wish I had known was that the television was tiny and inside of a cabinet, making it difficult to watch. This would normally have been no big deal, but it was March Madness! The "pull out couch" is a couch that just folds in two. And, it didn't give the best sense of comfort or cleanliness. But, my 13-year-old was a trooper and made the best of it! None of the interior doors lock - not even the bathroom. They are sliding "barn" doors. Here are some very positive things: The hot tub is awesome, and the view of the stars from there is breathtaking!! The owner was nice. Check in and check out were both very easy. After a day there, we all said, "This place is growing on us!!" The location was remote, but it was also an easy drive to all of the trails at Hocking Hills. If my husband and I were traveling without the girls, we would certainly stay here again.
