A-Frame in the Hocking Hills
The property was very nice. The shower was especially good. Bathroom was spacious but really needed a stand by the sink to set things on. The bedrooms were comfortable but they each need a small waste basket in them. You have to walk to the kitchen or bathroom to throw an item away. Also, the upstairs loft was very nice but it definitely needs a stand with a lamp in order to have a place to put a book, pair of glasses, or Kleenex box on. Maybe a rack to hang clothing on like the one in the downstairs bedroom would be great for the loft, too. The only major problem we had was no Internet or phone the whole time we were there. Since the person did not show up to fix it, they were kind enough to say they would refund the $15 fee. All in all, the cabin was nice and I would recommend people to take advantage of the beauty of the area.

More than we expected
Well maintained, clean property with all the necessary commodities for a short stay. I was surprised to find a peeler, potato masher and a can opener when I checked the drawers. Very understanding and helpful staff. Chalets definitely provided a positive experience during our trip. Will be returning in the future. Thanks

Beautiful setting. Cooking area needs renovation so you don’t hit your head on microwave while trying to use the close quarters of two hotplates. Cushioned furniture very old and uncomfortable

Mini Family Vacation
We decided to take a mini family vacation close to home. We decided to stay at the Chalets because it was close to all the things my kids love to do kayaking, zip lining, and hiking. They also, have a pool and our cabin had its own personal hot tub which was very relaxing. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. It looked out into the woods. We had a great weekend!!

Good location, cozy A frame cabin
Good location. Loved the private hot tub. Very cute and clean. Two things that made me give less than a 5 star overall, one small, one bigger: put sponges in the bathroom and kitchen! It's hard to clean up after oneself without them. (We resorted to using coffee filters.) The bigger issue: mattress in main bedroom was very uncomfortable with a huge dip in the middle! Upstairs mattress was fine. So the downstairs mattress needs to be replaced. But overall clean and comfy, great location, and staff was helpful. Contactless check in/out was also nice in the age of Covid.

Place was great except the bed
The main bedroom mattress was shaped like a bowl. We couldn't even sleep in it. It has to be so old that it sinks like that. Kinda ridiculous that it hasn't been replaced since I saw other reviews stating this. The place was beautiful and clean however I wouldn't stay here again due to the bed. Yes it's that bad!

Great property and a great location. Would rate 5 stars if the mattress wasn’t missing most of the bed springs in the middle. Like sleeping in a pot hole that made for a long night on the couch.

The bed on the main floor bedroom was broken down sunken in the middle, had to sleep on the loft bed. The whole cabin had a musty smell to it, when I sat on the couch a couple of ants were crawling on me and the chair was broken down. This place is in desperate need of updating, the rugs and carpet smell awful.

Great mini getaway
Though our stay was very short. It was perfect! The cabin was exactly what we needed, close to everything we wanted to do. We went horseback riding nearby, fishing, and hiking to Old Man’s Cave. The check in process was super quick and easy and the staff were very kind and helpful. They also gave us great recommendations for dinner and where to get bait for fishing. Our 5 yr old son is still talking about our weekend at the cabin. As for the cabin itself, everything was super clean including the hot tub. We would definitely return for another memorable family weekend.

Had a great stay! VERY clean. Great location to major hiking attractions, right next to a little general store and about a 15 minute drive to Troy. Check-in was super easy and the guy who checked us in could not of been friendlier!! Only downside was poor internet connection in cabin while trying to send work emails. But HIGHLY recommend staying here! Hope to be back soon!
