Unbeatable location on one of the most pristine and breathtaking coastal locations in North America. Quiet, dark-sky location in quaint Nova Scotian seaside town with well-maintained, scenic boardwalk through coastal bays and a newly-inaugurated bird sanctuary on an isolated promontory. Spectacular historic location with weekly beach market, annual fishing derby and more. Will absolutely return! Small local restaurants with harbor views and short drive to larger town of Shelburne with many artisan shops, more restaurants, famous Dory manufacturer, etc— too much to name.

The owners are amazing people! They welcomed us like a family, checked in with us and tried to meet our needs daily. They helped light the camp fire outside, turned the fireplace on inside, and provided beach chairs, kites, beach buckets, beach towels, and shovels. They even tried to make slime activities for the kids! We are extremely happy with the hosts and everything about the cottage. The kitchen has all the appliances you need to cook a full meal. The cottage is right on the beach with breathtaking views of the sand and ocean and lighthouse in the distance. We strongly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back!
