"A super house - it’s our second year staying at the Neuk. A few negative points: .. the house needs a good deep clean ..some items missing- a pan for the large brush, oven gloves, a small kitchen knife ( only very large knives which are difficult for cutting fruit etc), ..this time there was no dish washing liquid, and no dishwasher tablets - not even 1 to start us off. Perhaps if the latter is not to be supplied that should be made clear before arriving, as it’s difficult to clean dishes after first meal on the evening of arrival at 4pm! These are all small points which could be easily addressed. I hope so as we plan to be back again next summer. Thank you."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. House was spacious and had everything needed to cook for a large group. We played lots of games in the evenings having taken them with us. Only downside was as was wet for most of trip very difficult to dry anything. Ie after watersports trip."

"Good choice for a family holiday..6 adults and 2 kids and it didnt seem too small due to layout of the property. Excellent bedrooms and bathrooms..very modern and clean. Kitchen area looks onto lounge and dining area ..gives good separation while keeping all included. Only fault was a dishwasher door that closes sharply so beware.!!...hopefully now fixed."

"Wir haben eine sehr schöne Ferienwoche in der Unterkunft verbracht. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral in den Cairngorm Mountains. Viele Wanderungen, Aktivitäten sind in der Nähe erreichbar. Direkt in Aviemore gibt es viele Supermärkte, in denen alles erhältlich ist, was man so braucht.Negativ zu erwähnen ist der Zustand der Küche. Diese ist sehr mager ausgestattet, die Töpfe waren defekt und die Ofenbleche stark verdreckt."
Feshiebridge Cottage - a cottage that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms

"Feshiebridge Cottage is a well equipped, comfortable and spacious accommodation about 15mins away from Aviemore. It is an excellent location for walks, bike rides, etc, right outside the front door. We discovered lots of good walks from a couple of miles to several miles. Just along from the cottage along the river walk there is a wee woodland walk which has the most amazing wood carvings from fallen trees all with explanations…well worth a look. Loch Insh is a great place to visit with lots to do on the water or just enjoy a relaxing cuppie in the cafe/bar. Lovely wee cafe/gallery in Kincraig (the old PO) which is a must to visit. Excellent food and very friendly staff. The only downside to the Cottage, and this has been mentioned in other reviews, is the driveway. It is fairly steep and rutted and I hate to think what it’s like in the winter although you could just park at the bottom of it. Although the garden is mainly dog friendly/safe, if you have a small dog (we had schnauzers) they could squeeze under the gate if they had Houdini tendencies, so one to watch. Maybe some kind of netting on the gates would be helpful. It can be a busy wee road but generally quiet and most drivers we found to be considerate. All in all though I would highly recommend Feshiebridge. We were very lucky to have pine martens in the garden on our last evening…a rare thing to see!!!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The spacious dining and kitchen area is a real highlight, creating a lovely social space for family and friends. The location is excellent, with plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. We would happily recommend it."
Balbeag Cottage - Pet friendly Log Cabin

"The cabin is in a beautiful setting, views don't get much better. The cabin itself is spacious enough for two families and it is well stocked with everything you might need. The pre Berlin wall Iron still works! The hosts were responsive and helpful. The cabin has a rustic charm however it needs a bit of money spent on it, the sofas have seen better days. That being said it wouldn't stop us going back. "
