"Good location down a short road off the major areas. An ‘oasis of calm ‘ away from the normal livelinesses of a resort. A big shout out to Barry ‘the gardener’ for his vision in providing a great place to stay. A comment to be made, a brighter light in the shower/ wc area would be appreciated. "We loved staying at Donatela resort. It is comparatively remote and not as busy as other resorts in Panglao, it was quite and enjoyable. We traveled with our two toddlers and the kids were always welcomed! The only negative thing about our stay was that one night for dinner we arrived on the later end, the hours at the paprika restaurant said it was open until 9pm, we came around 8:15 because our kids had a late nap from our country side tour. "We were upgraded to a villa after a 2 day booking in deluxe room and then the oceana suite, which we never actually got to see after being upgraded to a villa. We'd had a couple of maintenance issues with a plug socket and then a leaking lavatory in our first room.
