We enjoyed staying here at the hotel. It is beautiful being right on the beach. Room is very small and the shower very confusing, but overall it’s very comfortable and quiet.

Not the room we booked and was moved to the Oasis. “Balcony” was in the hallway, bugs everywhere and the “balcony” door locked on the railing instead of the lock itself. Be careful when booking. We ended up booking the Henann a few doors down instead of staying at the Hayahay Oasis.

Have stayed here four times. The rooms are modern and clean, the hotel restaurant is right on the beach and the menu is excellent and well priced. At night it is quiet. AC works well and internet is very good. I will continue to come here.

Great location but be aware

There is in fact 2 hotels - the rooms in the new part is of corse more modern but small and no windows (!). No pool but 20 meters from beach. Remember : u must carry your luggage 100 meters down the dandy beach so dont bring heavy suitcase. Nice staff

The room was clean and basic and was recently upgraded. However we paid for an ocean view room and none of the rooms are ocean view, they could not refund us any money and just said the the owner made a mistake in Expedia so don't book an ocean view room and pay more.

This could easily be a 4 or 5 star property (for the Philippines). However, they are letting it run down. There were spiders and webs by the toilet, with enough spider feces dropped that I knew it hadn’t just taken up residency. The shower sprayer holder was broken, and they had taped it with what looked like an entire roll of electrical tape, making it unusable. The air conditioner worked GREAT. But it is stuck on 17C (62F), with no way to control it. And it is ALWAYS on if you are in the room, so you freeze. The room I booked specifically mentioned a patio/terrace. However, what they mean by this is that there is a walkway to your room that everyone uses. lol I am a local, I live about 60km away, and booked just to stay close to the airport for a flight. Breakfast was sub-par even compared to where I live. The place could be amazing. It’s super cute. Great location. Rooms are huge and unique. But I think they just need to up their game on the details.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Sadly, this was the only really bad experience during our whole stay in the Philippines. After we checked in we noticed some stains on the bed covers. As we asked at the reception to change those, they took a look at it and commented „Ah, this is probably only massage oil!“… they only changed it reluctantly then because we insisted. The rooms are very small and you can hear everything and everyone in the building during day and night, which made the nights not really restful. But hey, you get what you pay for. #HostelVibes At the restaurant we ordered a cocktail during the happy hour (2 for 1), which was also listed as included in the happy hour. When we asked for the bill they told us, that this was a mistake and that the cocktail was actually not included…. so we really had to pay for both drinks… as we didn’t want to over-react we just paid, but never ate there again. The cherry on top was the laundry service… I understand not to expect too much from a south East Asian laundry service and that some shirts might shrink… but I never experienced that shirts shrink TWO SIZES. When I told the receptionist about that issue, she just said that this is how it is in Filipino laundry services. After insisting that this is not the answer she told us her colleague will take care of this as she was not the person who received the laundry. As we left one day later she told us her colleague will be there for our checkout with a solution. At the time we checked

Ants in my room

Where do I start, ok the location is great, there are restaurants everywhere though they are not cheap. Night life in the area, they do close the live band/jamming between 10-11 depending on establishment. They only provided bath towels, two in one shampoo/body gel which I anticipated so I brought my own shampoo and conditioner, hand soap, free wifi and that is pretty much it. Didnt bother with the TV but it looks like they had cable. No hair dryer. Now lets talk about ants, there are ants galore in the bathroom. Luckily we didnt get bitten. Unfortunately I can only upload photos in hotels.com but I have a great video. Luckily it was only a one night stay.
