"Just enjoyed a 3 night stay at Park Lodge. We were very happy with the overall appearance of the hotel and the staff were excellent. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was very comfortable and clean and the decor was good. The bathroom was a little on the cozy side, but functional, although I think a large person would struggle with the basin being very close to the sink. A slight downside (not the fault of the hotel) was the main road running outside our window. Lorries were trundling past at all hours, and even with the window closed it was quite noisy. Parking was excellent and the grounds were very neat and tidy. We didn’t eat at the hotel, so can’t comment on the food. We would definitely stay again."

"We were glad we chose to stay here. We felt it was good value and clean and comfortable. Convenient central location and nearby secure parking all handy for town, beach and mountains. Modern, stylish ‘industrial look’ bedrooms,.. excellent Linen etc and nice toiletries and added extras (milk and cans of spring water etc.) Downstairs ‘shabby chic’ bar area with a relaxed vibe. All staff were friendly and welcoming. "

"The apartment we stayed in was enormous Two en suites one with a sauna. Even a down stairs toilet, brilliant views from the apartment. We would highly recommend the Macdonald plas."
