"The cottage was very quiet and remote yet the road is no problem at all. It has a stunning view and there’s a walk route where you can explore nearby villages and farm. The cottage owner was friendly and accommodating. She prepared freshly baked scones, milk, coffee, tea, sugar ready on our arrival. She checked on us as well twice to make sure we’re okay. "A beautiful hotel with genuinely friendly staff the bar was intimate and relaxed, our room was very well equipped and beautifully decorated with equality furnishings and fittings we had a spacious bathroom with shower above a bath. The continental breakfast had a good selection, I especially liked their pre soaked muesli which was full of nuts and fruit and shredded apple something I will try to reproduce, we had a full cooked breakfast the following day which was a little underwhelming, it's wasn't as hot as I would have liked and was missing either toast or fried bread, which if we had known we could have made our own toast from the continental selection but as it was already getting cold would have taken too long, but nevertheless the breakfast staff were excellent and very friendly."
