"We arrived Friday May 24th 2024 at around 6:30ish. Has been awhile since I’ve been in New York State. No cell service and it wasn’t until I signed back into VRBO that I received instructions how to get into the cabin. Cabin is absolutely gorgeous. As others commented about the smell of smoke, well yeah, there is a wood stove. I heat my mountain home with wood, smelled of home. We brought our lovely lady along with us, she is 9 years old, she isn’t a fan of the flooring lucky we brought her bed....

Some disappointments: - Water dispenser and icemaker in the refrigerator/ freezer were inoperative. - There was no explanation regarding the numerous items left in the refrigerator/freezer: water, condiments, frozen food. "If you are looking for absolute peace and quiet and just the sounds of nature then this is your place to visit. The charm and craftsmanship of this cabin is a must see. Great communication with the host and the cabin has everything you need. Highly recommend."

"Perfect for girls weekend! Hot tub was great, furniture was comfortable, kitchen well supplied. Covered porches were nice for winter. We stayed in March. Fireplace was great. This property is remote, yet minutes from the action in Ellicottville. Clean and comfortable. We will be back! A big thank you to our host Michael!"

"Our April stay in this private location in the woods was beautiful even without leaves on the trees. Enjoyed hearing and watching the birds from the large windows. Wood burning stove was awesome, kitchen very spacious and place was clean. The owner was responsive to a couple of issues."

"This property has a very nice location and really nice pond. The fishlines are not set up though. Easy check-in as well. We were NOT impressed with the cleanliness. There was dirt on the floor and the pillows and blankets were very dusty. And the fact that there were no curtains in half the windows, especially cause there were 3 camera's facing those windows. And you could stand outside and look in one window and see clear to the other side of the cabin. Says its a good place to relax, but...

"Very clean and well stocked cabin. This should be on anyone list who wants to enjoy a clean beautiful location. We had a great time hiking the Allegheny State Park just short drive down the road. Then sitting around the fire pit watching the moon rise. Throughly enjoyable!"

"We stayed for the total eclipse and enjoyed everything the cabin had to offer. The hot tub is amazing! The surrounding forest is very nice and quiet. The kitchen well appointed. Bathrooms are very nice and the beds are comfortable. In being critical, the only critiques would be: The dishwasher isn’t installed properly, still works though! "This was such a cute little cabin. It’s right across the street from the marina, so my dogs were able to sit in the grass and watch the boats go by. Rachel was so responsive when we had questions, she even wrote us a little thank you card and left it on the table. We would definitely recommend staying here. It’s not too far from Jamestown or Kinzua Dam, where we like to hike every summer. Thank you again for the experience, Rachel!"

"We came to the little cabin in the woods with the intention to bird watch but the weather didn't cooperate. Instead we stayed in and played the games of our childhood (Clue, Battleship, Chinese Checkers, Yatzee) while listening to the music of our youth on Direct TV! Thanks for providing us with great distractions that helped us get over our disappointment in not being able to bird watch! The cabin was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed and forgot...like toothpaste! Many thanks!"

"We enjoyed a long weekend of cabin life in this cozy place. We found everything clean and welcoming. We appreciated the plentiful towels, coffee pods, and wood for the fire-pit. The cabin is roomy with 2 beds upstairs plus a twin bed downstairs- a great setup for a family. Our dog had a great time too! The pond behind the cabin was a lovely spot to bask in the sunshine. The hot tub was warm and pristine. The cabin is private but still less than 10 minutes away from the charming downtown shops...

"This place is awesome. If you don’t stay here then you are missing out. There is so much to be able to do at the house itself that it’s impossible to not have a good time. Pool, foosball, darts, horseshoes, hot tub, fire pit, they got it all. Or you can just chill out and relax on the back deck. Would definitely recommend this place to others."

"Very nice house with lots of room and activities. Peaceful location but close to town."
