Very unique stay in a lovely old home. Nice and clean room. Very nice for a passing through one night stay. Walked down the hill to a nice small brewery. Not the Ritz but very nicely done, P.S. Just make sure you read the emails as you either get your codes or you cannot get in :) There is only help via phone calls as it is self check-in. Found out the hard way :)
The empress is an amazing historical building. It is like staying in a museum. It is very clean and comfortable

This place is beautiful but needs a little TLC. Back entrance steps have holes/wood rot in them and the shower in my room did not drain properly. The place is quiet. I took advantage of every room and was able to work from my laptop in the women's parlor and library, which was a nice treat. The inside was expertly decorated and stunning.
Gorgeous home with so many things to experience and explore. Check out the turret space in the attic- so fun! Close to outstanding restaurants. Private parking behind home.
We had a great time at The Empress! Get the breakfast! The food is great and you might get to meet one of the owners who has lived an amazing life with many stories to tell.
I've done a lot of traveling over the last few years, and this may be the best place I've stayed. The home is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. You can almost feel the history of the place when you walk in. Great owners, wonderful rooms. I cannot recommend this place enough.
The staff was amazing. The property and house were absolutely beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean. All in all a great experience.
Staying at The Empress pf Little Rock was one of the most enjoyable things I have done in Arkansas. The staff was amazing. The attention to detail to bring you back in time was on point. The Empress is very luxurious and relaxing and is the prefect get away.
such a unique and beautiful space. our suite was tastefully designed, thoughtfully detailed, and exceptionally clean and comfortable. the owners have done a fantastic job with the spaces in the house, and are knowledgeable about the pieces in it. will absolutely book again.
Antonio is charming and you will have a wonderful time. Keith is a gifted chef. Breakfast is well worth it.
This is truly an experience that will bring you completely into another world and time. Lovely. Luxurious. Comfort in elegance.
This property is a very nice old mansion and just visiting is like being in a museum. Everything is 100 years old at least and the decoration of the house is magnificent. You have different options to stay, either in the main house or the carriage house. We were in the carriage house and it was really quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was the cherry on top. We will certainly go back
No longer served breakfast!!!!! We stayed here about 4 years ago when under different management and were given a full tour of this beautiful, historic home, and had the most delicious breakfast in one of the reception rooms, a table for two. So romantic! Well, new management has stopped serving breakfast and there’s none of the feel of enjoying the reception rooms to sit and read or talk or take in the atmosphere of the olden days. I’m sorry to say it’s now just an expensive hotel with nice furniture. The breakfast was why I booked. Expedia still hasn’t changed the description to reflect this so beware: NO LONGER A B&B. Expedia tried to argue b&b is a kind of accommodation but breakfast isn’t guaranteed: fortunately they gave in and gave me a part refund. I still can’t believe it: a b&b with no breakfast.
The Empress of Little Rock is our official “special occasions” stay when we are in the area. Antonio and Kieth are so sweet and genuinely interested in their patrons. The rooms are meticulous and have all the modern amenities, great style and decor, and they have added all the special touches to ensure your stay is perfect.
This place is always worth the splurge and it’s nice to see a little bit of Little Rock history.
Thank you, so much!! ❤️
What a special place! If you are into unique, historical and elegant, this is your place. The bed was comfortable and shower nice and hot. The gardens were beautiful. The only let down was we thought there would be a made-to-order breakfast but the cereal, muffins, coffee and juice were fine. There was only one other couple staying so it was quiet and peaceful.
