Farmer Lake Lodge is a cosy 3-bedroom, 1.5-bath lakefront retreat in Little Lake, MI that sleeps up to 12 guests. Enjoy paddle boards, a row boat, and a paddle boat in summer, or snowmobile and quad bike trail access right from the property in winter. With a shared dock, dog-friendly policy, fire pit, and wood-burning fireplace, this cabin is perfect for year-round adventures. Located just 20 minutes from Marquette and close to Pictured Rocks, it's a great blend of comfort, convenience, and classic U.P. fun.

Air Conditioning: Yes! There is an in house unit for the main floor, and window & floor unit upstairs.

ATV's: Yes they are welcome! You can drive quad bike down main road to trail head from property.

Beach/Swimming: Not a traditional beach but you can definitely swim from the property.

Drugs/Smoking/Fireworks: Freshwater does not permit illegal drugs of any kind on the property. Due to the location of the properties, smoking is strongly discouraged around the home and strictly prohibited in the home. Fireworks are prohibited at a Freshwater location for the safety of all persons in and around the property, even if it is legal in that city.

Fishing Licence: A licence is required in order to fish in Michigan.

Heat: Yes, propane forced air. Plus upstairs bedrooms have electrical skirting board heat controlled by a thermostat in each room.

Linens: Yes, we provide your sheets and linens. Just like a hotel, the beds will be made for you upon arrival. We have just the basic sheets, pillows, pillowcases and bath towels.

Parking: 3 vehicles or 1 vehicle and 1 lorry and caravan. However, DO NOT DRIVE OR PARK in the area between the garage and the back of the cottage as this is the location of the SEPTIC tank and field. Please stay to the RIGHT of the driveway.

Pets: Freshwater Holiday Rentals currently charges $75/per pet for your entire stay. Yes, we do accept dogs, yet we do ask that you please clean up after them both inside and outside the cabin. Plus, if you allow them on the furniture, we do ask that you please bring your own linens/blankets for them to sleep on. Just let us know which bed you will be using with them, and we'll make sure it is ready for your sheets when you arrive. Plus, if the pet hair starts to build, we do ask that you please run the vacuum. Generally, dogs love the water and places to explore. Pet food does tend to attract mice, so vigilance is needed.

Privacy: Neighbors in view

Snowmobiles: You can ride right from the property, trail is across the street and garage access for your sleighs. A person (resident and nonresident) that operates a snowmobile in Michigan is required to purchase a snowmobile trail permit. The trail permit enables snowmobilers to ride state-designated trails and thousands more miles of public roads and on public lands (where authorised). It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground.

Space: Two Story Home on Farmer Lake. Farmer Lake is a private lake and the boat launch/ water toys across the lake are not public!
