"What a beautiful little haven in such a quiet locality. The apartment had everything you could wish for - equipment, cleanliness, parking, sun streaming in and so quiet. Andrew was the perfect host who always replied very quickly. Just wish I could have stayed longer. Have already been recommending it to friends."

"Absolutely fabulous stay at the property, Greg was a pleasure to deal with and the house was spotless with every amenity you could want for a weekend away. The kitchen was very well equipped. The outside garden and fire was awesome on the cold winter nights. Dog friendly too with a fully fenced yard. Would love to stay again one day "

Kākā Ridge Retreat Bush Hideaway

"A well appointed, spotlessly clean, and oh so comfortable hideaway, with lovely bush views. Hearing kiwi calling in the night and kākā during the day added to the feeling of being somewhere very special. Our hosts were lovely, and generous with their time and suggestions of things to do. The bach is just up the road from the Tawharanui Open Sanctuary (and night-time kiwi spotting), and the Matakana Market and Cinema are just 10 minutes away. We'll be back!"
Fantastic Water & Golf Course Views, Huge Deck, Stunning Sunsets, Modern & Cosy

"Truely excellent stay. Great communication and support (we had a few issues with the payment notifications (not host's fault). The house was so well stocked with everything you didn't realise you'd forgotten to pack. One of the cleanest places I've stayed. The location was wonderful, with view over the golf course and mins walk to the golf course cafe (yummy food). I'd love to come back with my dogs as the back yard and even the deck is fully enclosed. Beds - sooo comfy! plenty spare heaters/fans, even though we didn't use it, we loved that there was a real fire as well as a heat pump. A lovely house which we took full advantage of to relax in. Thank you so much."
Relaxing Sauna + Ice Bath + Hot Tub Retreat in Matakana

"The bach is excellent, light, clean and comfortable. What makes this bach exceptional are the extras... a good sauna, a relaxing spa pool and a cold bath for the (fool)hardy. There was electrolyte water to drink afterwards and craft supplies rather than a TV which was a nice touch. We could only stay one night this time didn't have time to ride the bikes around Point Wells which is a charming little settlement. We did buy excellent takeaways from the little store close by which were excellent. The location is handy to Matakana, Tawharanui and all the other attractions of this brilliant area. Add to that a very friendly and helpful host and it's an unbeatable, thoroughly enjoyable package."
