"Instructions were fine. We had some problems to find to underground garage, but got help immediately. Apartment was lovely and spacious. There was everything we needed and more. 2 bathrooms was luxury. View was amazing with hot air balloons flying on saturday morning. Some small broken things could be fixed to give more finnish to the atmosphere. And a little minus to the elevator not working all the time. Communication was perfect. "

"Biggest complaint is towards Hotels.com way of dealing with reservations - they do not provide direct number to call. It is an old apartment building that remind of communal apartments back in 60ies in Soviet time and there are NO mention of River apartments on outside of building or anywhere inside if you get past door lock with a code. Only way to reach owners and get instruction on how to get into building and get keys is by calling a Hotels.com number - in USA. I after getting really upset...

"I did not receive the 24- hour advance check in information until 2 hours after check- in time. I started contacting the owner/manager 2 weeks in advance to confirm the rental. I contacted the owner/manager via text message, email, and Expedia portal via the contact information provided on the confirmation receipt. Due to the lack of communication i was forced to find another rental unit at the last minute. Fortunately, i did."

"Pros: Amazing location, walkable to all major things (including bus and train stations), located right in the heart of Old Town. Comfortable beds, great upgraded bathroom. Perfect instructions for accessing the apartment. Cons: The place had not been cleaned when we arrived. The toilet was dirty, the dishes in the dishwasher had not been washed, the table had sticky residue, and the floors had not been vacuumed. We cleaned up a bunch just to get it usable. There is no coffee maker- just a hot...

"This place has great potential. The impressive size of the apartment and two-level interiors are impressive. Good localization. Unfortunately, the level of maintenance and very low. See the pictures. If the owner pays more attention to details I would rate it really high. "
