"Had a short overnight stay. The heaters worked well which made the room cosy on a cold evening. The owner was friendly & provided fresh milk for the morning. The kitchen had enough items to home cook if you wished, but we had a nice meal at the old pub & morning coffee at Barkers. A nice little stop in Geraldine."

"Great little boutique motel in Ashburton. The host greeted me and showed me the room. The room has already had heat pump on which was great for the cold night. You have all amenities and then some like nespresso gusto machine. The thing that surprised me was the ropes in the wardrobe, just like in hotels. A good touch I think. We had a wee glitch at night where the TV turned itself back on every 2-3hrs. I have let the host know at the checkout in the morning.However, the bed and pillows were comfy. Oh they have a Teslar charger(Teslar only) sadly we could not use it with our EV car. Hopefully the motel could change to a charger that can charge with any brands. Anyway, highly recommended, we will definitely stay here again next time."
