The property is pretty amazing. The hotel is not too big, small number of rooms per floor, LOVED that it’s adults only. The staff was very helpful and nice. Front desk staffer Gabriel was so hospitable and provided us with great tips. Solange in the dining area was extra nice and hustled every morning to make sure breakfast was perfect! We had an amazing time! I would definitely stay there again!

Short stay in Lisbon

We stayed for 2 nights and were very comfortable. It doesn't lack for personality and I'd say it was strictly appropriate for over 18s. Vibrant decor and friendly staff! Location wise it's very close to the Metro however it can feel a bit off-the-beaten-path late on as it's just behind the main road.

Friendly, accommodating staff at this unique and lovely property. Highly recommended, as are the vegan restaurant O Gambuzino directly across the street and Dois Corvos brewery a few doors down.

The only thing off about this property is the location. It’s a little too far off the beaten path in an area that’s a little rough. Looks like it’s being gentrified so it may be getting better

Perfect spot to explore Lisbon from and to relax in style. The bar and hot tub is fantastic and our room was very cool - definitely get one of the rooms with the bath in. Thanks to the staff for making my birthday really special by surprising me with a lovely cake and bottle of bubbles.

A quirky, comfortable hotel with lovely staff. Close to the underground but blissfully just outside the main tourist areas, making it quieter at night. The area it's in is interesting, a mix of faded grandeur and up-and-coming refurbishment. We'd definitely go back.

Amazing stay, perfect place for a couple holidays in Lisbon. Place is very convenient to visit the city by foot, close to metro too. Very good breakfast, and the jacuzzi brings a real plus to the place. Definitely would recommend

Very pleased with the hotel and its staff, who were extremely accommodating in any passing conversation or request and very communicative generally, both in-person and over text message. Pros: Although there are numerous pros to this property, some of the standout features include the pool, the hotel's quiet ambiance, the cleanliness of the room, and the boutique feel of the lobby. Again, I can't stress enough how communicative and friendly the Front Desk staff was. The hospitality group that owns this hotel needs to do as much as it can to retain the staff that they have hired. The staff would be a valuable asset anywhere else, and they make this property such a fantastic place to stay. Cons: The only 2 things that I can ask to be improved are the shelving or counter surface area in the bathroom for you to lay out toiletries. Also, I drink a lot of water and would request a few bottles of water per day, as they only have one refillable bottle per room (intentionally), and I feel like it would be less annoying for the room service staff to keep running upstairs to get the empty bottle and swap it out with a full one. Thank you!

Weekend break

Lovely hotel and extremely friendly staff! Would highly recommend staying here for a short trip in Lisbon. Location was great and just a short walk to metro/tram and the city centre!

We reserved our stay thru Expedia from the USA. We arrived finding the staff is very helpful. It was our first visit in Lisbon and we had various questions which they were able to answer. In big hotels you are just a number. Upon Angels is a smaller boutique hotel where you get the all attention you need. The cleanliness in our room & bathroom was absolutely remarkable!! We had breakfast in house and were impressed with the variety and quality of the breakfast buffet! We'll be happy to refer any friends or family to Upon Angels Hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at Upon Angels quite a bit. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is small and comfortable, something I appreciate since I didn't have to navigate a large and complicated building. The decor is classy but sugestive, great for couples!

A very beautiful and new hotel in the very city center. Was visiting family who live on the direct opposite so on top to all the other great things there super convenient for me. Not a fancy area but the quarter is very much in the change. Will be interesting to see the development in the future.

Comfy but noisy

Amazing front desk staff, well designed room but incredibly noisy. Walls are paper thin and you’ll be able to hear the cleaning staff next door from 9am. Location is walking distance to sights but immediate area not the best.

Great service and stay

We stayed for three nights. Loved the hotel - our room was cute with quirky design, spacious and everything was super clean. What we loved the most was the staff. Service was excellent and staff was very helpfull and nice. We were also able to extend our check out for free which was a big bonus. A bit better lighting and perhaps an extra table or something in the bathroom would be nice, there are not much counter space. The hotel is located conveniently and close to everything, metro is just around the corner and also on a walking distance from the city centre. However, I would not walk alone outside after dark, the area is not the safest (especially if you are a woman or travelling alone) and there were lot of homeless people in the surrounding streets.
