The room was not clean upon arrival—we found a cigarette butt on the floor as soon as we checked in. The bedroom and bathroom were also very cold, even after we tried increasing the heater temperature. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was quite good. However, the view was disappointing, as it overlooked the parking lot and railroad. The photos on Expedia only showed ocean views, and none indicated the railroad, which was misleading

Everyone was so friendly, and a joy to be around. All the staff was amazing. I loved that a member of your staff got our rental car. Everyone at Solar was really amazing and incredible and made our journey in Portugal start and end on a fantastic note. I will recommend this hotel to everyone that I know here in Canada when they go to Portugal!

I was there for a meeting in Taguspark, the location is good alsince it is less than 15 minutes by uber. The area of the hotel is also nice, just the hotel is very close to a main street and train tracks, nevertheless the room was quite, but you can hear the noise in the garden and swimming pool area. If you are interested in the view, make sure to ask for it, since some rooms do not have it. Overall it was a nice stay for 1 night for work, with the benefit of the swimming pool and sea nearby, breakfast was good and personal was nice.

Lisbon's hidden gem

A fantastic stay in a wonderful location with lots of outstanding restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Special mention to Helder and Jorge on reception who couldn't do enough for us and went above and beyond helping us.

On balance it was good stay, really welcoming and helpful reception staff. Lovely outside space. Very clean everywhere and big rooms. I think it could do with some modernising in places and some nicer bathroom products would make a difference.

The hotel is has great facilities, rooms and building in general are very clean and comfortable, small pool but the beach is just few blocks away so it's a great location. Their customer service is exceptional, every staff we encountered was friendly and courteous. Highly recommended.

Very charming lay out with a lot of greenery. Dining and breakfast areas and menu were compelling to stay in. A 5 minute walk to sandy beaches with the water much warmer than the Algarve, due to "the current" according to the locals. We will book again.
