Totally loved this hotel. Right in the square. It can be a bit loud but that didn’t bother us. We loved being in the middle of all the action. Super comfortable beds. The team of employees were so helpful and lovely. Breakfast was great. Coffee was amazing!!!!! Highly recommend. If we are ever back this way we would stay again.

We had a wonderful view from our front facing window. Check in staff were helpful and friendly. Bathroom was huge with GREAT water pressure, but no where to sit our toiletries. My one big complaint were the ants in the room. I woke up in the morning and found at least 20 in my bed, more on my shoes next to my bed, more on the table next to my bed. I let the desk know when checked out, they said they would make a note. One thing to know if you have accessibility issues. The elevator is after one flight of stairs.

From the unique entrance to the front desk was the ambiance of the twenties. It takes you back to the 20's with irs decor and furnishings. Greet by the wonderful in a courtesy manner and friendly manner. Room kept ro the theme of the 20?'s and cannot say enough about the staff and how accomadating they were. Very clean hotel rooms and every area of the hotel. Breakfast was great and tasty. Cannot say enough about my experience withis place. Will be back again.

Breakfast was very good. Staff was very helpful, especially Ricardo. Bedroom was very spacious and comfortable! I had a Castle view on the 5th Floor, totally worth it! Hotel is at great location to walk around town.

Location, location, location

This hotel is in the perfect location, right on Rosso Square. We were able to walk to most of the sights, and perfectly located for using public transport. The staff here are amazing, they do a great job, and are friendly and helpful. The building is old, and needs some work, but the rooms are still clean and comfortable. If we return to Lisbon, Metropole Hotel will be our first choice for accommodation.

Centrally located in a flatter part of the city so easier to get around for people with mobility issues. Room was spacious and clean and looked like it had been refurbished recently. Hotel provided gluten free bread for breakfast which was really appreciated. Had a comfortable stay here and would definitely stay again.

Wonderful experience

Absolutely charming small hotel, located in a middle of everything in a heart of Lisbon! I was pleasantly impressed with a cleanliness and super friendly atmosphere here. Staff were more than helpful with everything (my personal thanks to Joao, I really appreciate the effort he put to make my 6 night stay comfortable) I got a room on 5th floor with a fantastic view to Rossio square - worth paying couple of extra euros, see pics. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lisbon!
