Everything was as presented, it's a small place but very functional for one or two staying who aren't doing much cooking. The stairs going up off of the street level are narrow and steep. If you have a very large suitcase it might be a little tough for some. Small market with essentials less than the block away, and many many restaurants within a few blocks walk. A little noisy at night with the windows open, but not too bad. Spotless clean and almost instant replies from the owners. Definitely would recommend and return.

Cosy stay with nice touches

We had a great stay, the apartment is small but cosy, and has everything we needed. Location was ideal for exploring Lisbon and the hosts even provided a few extra things that made our stay so much more welcoming and easy. Thankyou!

Great location perfect for city break

Everything you need for a short stay. Photos very accurate. It is very small but adequate for us for a few days. Quiet but very central and lovely old neighbourhood. Kind host left us a welcome bottle of wine. Lisbon is a lovely city.

Perfect location to many well known sites, right across from Fado Museum so easy to find, great communication with Miguel and Sofia, clean and quiet, walkable. Beautiful artisan tile shop across from apt. Wish I had more than 2 days.

Great place in a great neighborhood!

Loved the neighborhood, it was fun climbing up the streets and finding great restaurants and markets tucked away on little alleys. The apartment was great for two people, easy check in and clean. It is located on a square with restaurants so can get noisy at times. Really enjoyed our stay. Would stay here again.

Beautiful Alfama Studio

I’d recommend this property to anyone! It’s a beautiful studio in the heart of Alfama with a great view of the square just outside. The property manager was super helpful throughout the process and made the check in/out process very easy.

We loved the location we walked everywhere from Alfama to Augusta Street. It’s nice to have the restaurants right out our door. Very clean and is just as described online. The hosts are very friendly and responsive to any questions. There is a Nespresso type coffee maker and we couldn’t find the right size pods (10) for mornings #2 and #3 so we had to buy instant coffee and just used the hot water out of the coffee maker. We had a fantastic time in Miguel's apartment. The location is perfect to get to all the spots in Lisbon shortly. The apartment is very clean and equipped with everything you need for city trip. Check in was easy, Miguel helped quickly with all.

We enjoyed our stay so much

Communication with the landlords was super easy, wo got detailed Information about the check in. Flat looks exactly like in the pictures - super comfortable, tiny and beautiful flat - perfect size for a stay. Location also great - directly in vibrating alfama, a lot of great cafes nearby . As it is a place in center, it can get a little busy - also in the evening or night when you are trying to sleep, but that’s just one downside of being so super central and it was never too loud to sleep. I live in city center in Germany as well so I am used to “city noises” Thanks for a great stay :)

Lovely room in the heart of Lisbon

My partner and I enjoyed a lot staying in this beautiful room. Very cosy and cute.It was a game changer being on the bottom of the hill after a long day wandering around. The room has a beautiful decoration and is equipped to cover the basics. The communication with Miguel and his attentions to us were absolutely amazing and very kind. All these good things related to the accommodation made better our visit to Lisbon. We fall in love with this accommodation. Una habitación del ensueño, muy recomendada.

Gem of an apartment!

We can’t rave about this place enough. I wish we had it booked for a longer stay. It was perfect for my husband and I. The view of the courtyard below is just adorable. We strolled through the neighborhood. The space was clean. They had fans which was great as I run hot and my husband doesn’t so a fan is preferred. There were extra blankets if needed. The bed was super comfy, the large smart tv and fast internet worked great! The shower was nice with hot water! They really had everything needed for a pleasant stay. The host was attentive and available! I would recommend this property to my family and friends and would 100% stay here again.

It was absolutely perfect. Better than any stay at a hotel. Place was clean, tidy, so many amenities , hair dryer, wine bottle, beer, mimosa, and fruits on the table that we enjoyed. The place looked better than the picture, host was very kind and provided with ALL the info and always available on WhatsApp. Location was absolutely perfect as well, right in the heart of Alfama, restaurants alll around and even below. We enjoyed FADO music which was just around the corner along with other options. Rossio square is so close just a 10 min walk.

Perfect spot!

My boyfriend and I loved this apartment! It was small but plenty of space for the two of us. Had three windows so easy to get fresh air and was located right in the square of the fado museum so we really felt like we were in the middle of the action. Not too noisy to sleep. Comfortable firm bed, good closet space. Alfama was a wonderful neighborhood to stay in too. Miguel was also so helpful and kind! Shared lots of useful tips for navigating from the airport etc. The only thing was the bathroom sometimes has some smells from the restaurant below but that seems unavoidable.

The studio is very clean and adorable, and I felt safe. The area is very walkable (with cobblestones and hills), and has many restaurants and bodegas nearby. The water pressure is great. The linens and towels are nice quality. The host responded quickly to any questions, and had provided some milk, juice, bread, and other helpful items like hairspray and a reusable bag to bring to the market. There are patio restaurants in the square below the window, so there are people setting up, talking, smoking, and other things that might frustrate some people. It was quiet after about 11pm until about 9am, and I slept well in the comfortable bed with either soft or tempurpedic pillow options. I walked to several tourist spots that are 10-20 minutes away. You can order a Bolt car service through the app and go almost anywhere for 4 euros, and there are tuk tuks for hire in the apartment square. I saw buses but didn't use them so I can't share about that. I took a taxi from the airport because had internet issues, and the driver charged me 25 euros and brought me to an area above the apartment. I couldn't find the narrow cobblestone street the apartment was on for the first time from up there, especially with luggage. I recommend asking for the Fado Museum rather than the apartment address, and take a Bolt from the airport for about 10 euros, then use the photos and instructions the kind hosts send.
