This is a great place to stay for your visit to Lisboa. Very spacious and clean, and it has what you need for your stay. Most importantly it is very convenient to the main places to visit - walking distance to almost everything we wanted to do.
We are very happy we stayed here for our visit and would happily stay here again.
Beautiful well designed apartment. On arrival a lovely welcome box of wine and local breads and pastries as per our request as part of a Birthday celebration. Ideal location in for exploring Lisbon as first time visitors. Plenty shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Wonderful comfort accommodation
Air conditioning good; very quiet building. Nice elevator. Felt very secure there.Very close to restaurants, bodegas, coffee shops, super location. Very comfortable for two couples, nice bathrooms.
Great location and such a nice apartment! If you are sensitive to street noise may not be the ideal location for you. It is close to some very late night youthful activity that’s easily heard from the apartment - bring earplugs AND white noise, but would still stay again and loved Lisbon so much!
Great place. Quality apartment with great air conditioning. Felt very clean and safe. Marta was excellent with check-in process and communication. Would certainly book again.
The location and property were wonderful. The only issue was that the bar at the end of the street had people outside yelling as loud as they could until about 2am. This was on Thur-Sun. It only bothered us 1 Night as the other nights if we turned on some music or tv we didn’t hear the noise, All in all we had a really great trip. I would recommend this property with the caveat mentioned above.
Our family spent 4 days in Lisbon and this apartment was a location. There are many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Great area to explore and so within walking distance to many other great neighborhoods.
We really enjoyed the size of the apartment, patios and two nice bathrooms. It was a bit noisy as the neighborhood has a lot of construction going on. Felt safe in the apartment and surroundings. Washer is nice but couldn't get the dryer feature to work. I would ask for clarification on check in. No car needed - would not drive here!
The location was good for touring Lisbon. There was an elevator to this third floor apartment, which was great, especially after walking up and down Lisbon's steep hills. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Noise was sometimes an issue with construction during the day and bars at night. However, there was very little noise from other units, and this unit is on the top floor so no one is above you. The apartment had three mini-split heat pumps which worked well and we could keep the windows closed to reduce the outside noise.
The apartment is great…clean and comfortable. Depending on which part of town you’re coming from, you might be walking uphill to the apartment. As seniors, we took our time, but manageable.
The one negative is that the bars and clubs around the corner can be very noisy, especially on a Friday night. Our stayed included one Friday night and the noise lasted until 2:00 - 3:00 am. That night was not a restful night for the friends that stayed in the front room.
This was a beautiful penthouse apartment. Exactly as pictured with clean bright rooms and comfortable beds & pillows.
Both bathrooms have a shower and both work well. Combo shower/tub in main bathroom.
Well equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, toaster, hot water heater and Nespresso. They even had some pods and tea bags, which we replaced and left a few to pay it forward. Perfect for stocking up for breakfast before going out on the town.
The parking is a secure underground lot that was tight fit for the SUV we rented, but was able to be negotiated without too much difficulty.
The lot is in the basement with an elevator to the apartment so no need to unload car from outside the building.
This is a lively area of town with all night people and groups (young adults, students, etc) outside all the time. Also there was construction in adjacent buildings. But in both cases the noise level was minimal and didn’t wake us up from sleeping.
I would return here again.
We had a wonderful time. Lisbon is a great city. Be aware that this apartment is a high point in the general area so be prepared to always be walking downhill whenever exploring and uphill when returning to the apartment. It was a great daily workout. Expect to walk a lot! Pictures of the apartment are exactly as advertised. Very safe neighborhood. Of note, there is construction going on M-F between about 8-4. The men are occasionally seen on the scaffolding across the street and next door. Generally, they were courteous and not looking into the apartment but there are construction sounds during the day. There is a mini market just a couple blocks away, a million restaurants in all directions. We did not rent a car and didn’t need one. We used the metro, got off at the Baixo-Chiado station and walked from there to the apartment. Took the train to Sintra and Cascais. Took the bus to the tile museum. We had a lot of fun, our teenagers enjoyed all the various restaurants. Surf was only 1-2 ft at Carcavelos so we did not go but it’s easily reachable on the train. Would go back for sure!
Our only disappointment was getting home to discover a cleaning fee for the stains we left on the carpet with matching photos. The rugs were dirty with “street grime” but not specifically stained. For those coming after us, be advised that Lisbon is DIRTY. They actually come thru the neighborhood on Wednesdays with hoses and street cleaners to wash the grime and trash away into the sewers. We probably should have rolled up the rug under the dining room table as it looks cute but is a major traffic area and is a pale gray color. We have never been fined in the past, so were very surprised. We may even recall Marta mentioning that the carpets had recently been cleaned. There is no vacuum, no mop, no cleaning supplies and limited paper towels and toilet paper.
Oh well, it is what it is. I also found the communication with Lisbonne Collection to be poor. They answered few questions beyond where to send the money. I had to send multiple emails before getting a response. Marta, who met us at the apartment, was very nice.
